Excellent Vintage X'Mas train. Singing, gifts, Jingle bells and an appearance from Santa and elves. All the props were great. Make sure to take your kids.

Great train ride and farm tractor ride in Elmira. This tour is so fun and the lunch for a few extra dollars , provided by Kitchen Kuttings is So fresh and DELISIOUS! A great way to spend a nice fall or summer afternoon!

Its a good way of contributing through tickets but overall it was not what we expected. Although We enjoyed our time but it was boring for the price.

If this was a frequent commuter rail service and not just a tourist attraction, I would definitely rate it higher. But for the price, its definitely not worth it. Scenery is great and overall a nice family trip, but just too expensive.

I recently had the privilege of taking the Christmas Train by Waterloo Central Railway and it was an unforgettable experience. The train was beautifully decorated with lights, garlands, and festive decorations that immediately put me in the holiday spirit.The ride itself was delightful, with carolers singing classic Christmas songs, and hot cocoa and cookies available for purchase. The scenery along the route was breathtaking, with snow-covered trees and twinkling lights creating a truly magical atmosphere.The staff was top-notch, always friendly and accommodating, and they went above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying themselves. They made a special effort to interact with the children on board, adding to the festive atmosphere and ensuring that everyone had a memorable experience.In addition to the train ride, we could participate in a variety of other holiday-themed activities. This was the perfect way to get into the holiday spirit and it was a treat for children and adults alike.It was a magical experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun and festive way to get into the holiday spirit. Whether you're a train enthusiast, a family looking for a special holiday outing, or simply someone who loves the holiday season, the Christmas Train is sure to bring a smile to your face and a warm feeling to your heart.

Amazing! A must for family bucket list. Went on the Thanksgiving steam special. It's an enjoyable experience for all ages. The train staff were so friendly and they really make the experience that much more enjoyable. The tickets you purchase go towards keeping these events going and the trains in working order. The staff are all volunteers! Worth every penny!

Great heritage railway

It's really about being more entertaining inside. For example, the tour guide visits every car instead of using the speakers with the microphone and we couldn't even hear him then. The sight is just the river and the rest is nature if you love nature. They should have better music, serve tea or coffee, dress like old-fashioned at least this way you get your money worth. Other than that, if you never took the train and you want to contribute to the Waterloo train station, then get on board.

Went there with the grandkids. Great wild west experience via an older type model working historic railway that works! Ride is slow from St Jacob's to Elmira and back. Probably 1.5 hrs on the train, 2hrs total including the suggested 20 min for the pre-departure. Complete with galloping horses and riders with cowboy hats and csl guns. Great for kids 4-10. The CEO was kind enough to give us a tour of the carriages and the train. It was a nice surprise! Thanks
