My dog got tangled in a barbed wire fence wound up with major wounds and required emergency surgery at 10 pm on a Friday night. The vet met me there and was very professional and got my girl sewed up. The vet was friendly, kind, educated in Dr. Sophia Yin’s behavioural techniques for handling. She did a brilliant job and I was pleasantly surprised at the cost which was much less than many vets charge for such extensive surgery after hours.

Our mini schnauzer needed extensive dental work done and I was recommended to come here by a friend. I’m very glad we did! The staff are incredibly welcoming and love the animals they care for. The staff were knowledgeable, patient and generally caring. Our schnauzer, Storm, was a very happy pup despite being nervous to be left without us for the day. Her surgery went great and recovery was smooth.The price is right too, I was quite impressed considering the amount of work done!Thank you!

My greyhound got tangled in a rusty barbed wire fence on a Sunday afternoon and Dr. Winder was so gracious to meet us there. I'm from out of town and was visiting family and he was so very helpful and so friendly. He met us at the door and immediately, I was panicked when I walked in, but his calm and friendly personality eased me of my worries. He stitched Poptart up and she is good as new. He did such a wonderful job of caring for her. He was very upfront with everything. I highly recommend Rocky Rapids Veterinary. And I highly recommend Dr. Winder. Called to have my new horse vaccinated and examined, they got me in within days! Receptionist was very kind and even spoke to the vet herself which was nice!

Very good staff especially during a difficult time. Did not price gouge us at a very emotional time for my family. Thank you for being kind and professional.

Took my dog in to be fixed and they over charged me from what they said would be the high cost and he was so swollen and bruised afterwards. Took him back and seen a vet willing to actually check him over properly.

Got us in last minute for dog vaccinations. They were knowledgeable, quick and well worth the time and money.

Staff are friendly. I bring parrots over for nail trims and it's always quick and each time the little guys get more relaxed about it which is saying something since they can't stand it being done. They must be doing something right.
