Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Renting a car is rarely a pleasant experience--long lines at the counter, cars not cleaned or filled, bills with overcharges, etc. But not with Enterprise at this location: the experience we had could not have been better! We rented for a day in port when on a cruise. We booked ahead (of course) and were picked up within minutes of letting the office know we had disembarked. And at the end of our rental, we were driven back to the ship within minutes of arriving at the office. Not only was the service prompt, but the personnel who dealt with us could not have been more pleasant and helpful--and a particular call-out to Alicia and Chedelle! We learned that Enterprise promotes from within, and starts everyone at the lowest level. This appears to be another company (like Costco and Southwest Airlines) where employees are almost all happy to be where they are, and are not looking outside the company for better pay or conditions, because they know they are valued. Kudos to Enterprise, and a special thanks to the people who work for them in Sydney.

Don't rent from this place, it's terrible. Rented a car for a day coming off a cruise, show up at enterprise and they basically tell me too bad cars were all recalled. No email no nothing to notify us of this. Thankfully avis and budget had cars available. When I talked to the ladies at avis and budget they said enterprise always overbooks and that there was no vehicle recall because enterprise called them the day before looking for cars to borrow. Shame on you enterprise for overbooking and ruining people's vacation. Thank you avis and budget for saving our day

Excellent Experience!I rented a very nice, very comfortable Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross (SUV) for about 3 weeks. Driving from Sydney to Yellowknife in that time and putting nearly 14,000 kms on the vehicle, I never once had an issue. I did call Enterprise about getting an oil change due to the kms and they were apologetically accommodating. Since there were no Enterprise locations in YK, I just had to keep my receipt and they took care of it. Super folks to deal with!

I rent a car from them, I got an Elantra almost brand new and super clean.Very friendly staff and they gave me a free ride to my hotel.Everything perfect!

Came in on a cruise for the day. A bit of a challenge getting picked up at the port. Van showed up quite late, and would only take drivers back to the office since there were so many people waiting. They should have sent more than one van. Obviously, this meant that I had to go back to the port to pick up my wife after picking up the car. Once I got to the office, the experience was quite positive. Without a doubt, the most personable and professional car rental agency staff I've ever encountered. Vehicle was clean and operated perfectly. Rental return process and getting back to the port all went smoothly. Overall very nice experience.
