Baymont by Wyndham Red Deer

Checked in, no dresser, no coffee maker, not even a TV. Called front desk and spoke to manager on duty, said there was nothing he could do as they were booked up. No further discount.Restaurant not prepared for the large group that was here for a convention. Our table ordered at the same time and one meal came out at a time, 15 minutes apart.Do not recommend to ever stay here even as a last resort.

they will not refund your money. After speaking kindly to staff prior to prepare them to get my payment back they say that it will be done. I had to leave earlier than the prepaid amount they were confident and reassured me 3 times that they had it under control. after 3 days i had to call back and they still can't refund the money. I am beyond frustrated, the total was around 1300, and they split the room $989 for myself and under $600 for the sharing mate. There is a accounting error that they cannot figure out, and still haven't sent me the invoice via email. Absolute unprofessional, i am forced to dispute payment.Edit:After Calming myself down i did the math.14 daysBaymont charged me $989.50.Baymont charged room partner $600 who stayed 1 extra night.Lets say including taxes and room fees we will call it $100 a day. Even though they should of refunded me first and then charged the remainder to the room partner the math does not add up that the charges were totals should add up the way they divided the room fees. The secondary frustration is the invoice they said they would provide via email I provided so I may keep documented. They reassured me afternoon after afternoon after afternoon that the manager had it under control. The lack of training of the staff to provide customers with reasonable requests is absurd when the manager works shifts that do not cover all hours, not even a supervisor could fulfill the requests.The worst Hotel business model I've encountered.

Attended a convention for 5 days here. Experienced a mechanical problem with room right after check in. Marcy at front desk & Jake engineer/maintenance during a very busy check in day/hour worked with me on the problem & moved me to another room. Both very understanding & concerned about my needs. Can’t thank them enough for the extra help they provided. Made my stay in Red Deer one to remember.

Super friendly staff, pool area is beautiful, housekeeping available on request and completed in a very timely manner. Great breakfast buffet. Location is great and can get wherever in the city in a matter of minutes. We stayed for 5 nights and it felt like a home away from home.

Great hotel and kudos to amazing staff. Stayed here for almost a month for work purpose. Overall a great experience to share I mean rooms are clean, spacious and beds are comfy. Can’t forget to say anything about the amazing and well maintained garden area with pool.Hotel staff was super friendly, hospitable and helpful (especially Shannon and Jayden).Breakfast including the serving staff was great too.Thanks for service guys.

Our main restaurant and service attendant for our staff retreat was Anne was she was spectacular. Attended to our every need and went above expected meal service for us. As well the front desk let us keep a room after checkout to store luggage and the manager and front desk staff was very accommodating to all out needs and super friendly

They stay was an easy process. Room was clean. Pool is warm. Staff very polite. Would stay again. Plus free breakfast buffet. 5 stars

Location from the outside was scary. I drove in and thought oh no! Upon entry the lobby was well lit and we were greeted by staff immediately. We were situated to a room right away. We got to our room pool side and it was warm but the AC turned on fast and cooled it down. Bed was comfortable, but the pull out couch WAS NOT! Pillows were great and room was clean. Pool was clean- a bit on the cooler side but fun and salt water which was a bonus. There is a small hot tub there also. Pool closes at 10:30 so we were able to swim late. Breakfast was ok- lots of options but wasn’t hot- not really an issue as you can take back to your room and heat it if you wanted. Would Recommend the property to families and or couples.

This was by far the worst hotel we've ever stayed in! It was absolutely filthy! I think people were living in this hotel. Garbage bags all up and down all the hallways? The room was very dirty, the bathroom vanity was poorly cleaned, sink taps not wiped down, the back of the toilet was dirty, one of the queen beds had dirty marks on the spread. Riding the elevator was very dirty, sticky hand prints on everything and appeared little cleaning was ever done. The rooms walls were dirty and need a good washing or paint job. Front doors very dirty, and it appeared little to no vacuuming was ever done. All carpets at front entry were dirty, stained, not cleaned nor vacuumed. This hotel included a free breakfast that we didn't take advantage of due to the concern for unclean & unsanitary conditions of the entire hotel. We would never have stayed except I booked through another travel agency and couldn't get a refund. Don't stay here. It's cheap, but dirty!

Kelsey provided incredible service and made our check in a breeze! The pool area is beautiful and very relaxing and the rooms are very comfortable. Our main floor city view room I was expecting a view of a road but instead our room looked onto a beautiful green space. While the parking lot could use some repaving and updating I would definitely stay at this hotel again!
