Moving to Tillsonburg I still make Nick and his store the place to visit for model kits . I come into town and visit Never leaving empty handed. Always great to chat with Nick , full of knowledge.

How is this place able to pay rent? It is never open.... I have traveled multiple times over the past 6 months here to spend some $$ but even though the google link says it is open... it is always closed! The guy that owns is a Really nice guy, his store is loaded with boatloads of amazing items... but I cannot get my hands on any of it.. please update your google info to reflect you correct hours..Edit note: it is currently 1:07pm

I buy all my HO train supplies from Carefree Hobbies, They also sell Model airplnes, and military antiques, no radio's but some sword, and cannons, weird stuff

Great store, great stuff, great people!Carefree is a gem of a store with all kinds of awesome stuff. It's got something for everybody; die cast, kits, supplies, books, toys, trains and militaria! If you can't find something you like in there, well, I feel badly for you.Nick is awesome, too. Knowledgeable and friendly, willing to deal and you can tell he loves this stuff. It shows in all aspects of the store. I drive down here (well, drove, thanks to COVID) from London, and it's always worth the trip!
