Super nice staff always willing to do a little extra. Staff is willing to look into anything. Only reason not 5 star is shaw head office still affects the service.

Check your billing. They are charging $20.99 a month fee just for the convenience of voice commend for Netflix!! You still have to pay for your subscription on top of that.

We dealt with Haily getting an iPhone 12 Pro Max. She was really helpful and explained everything about the plan and phone. She was great in customer service. We will definitely come back for a new phone soon for my wife!

Shaw promotion will tell you that their blue curve modems are compatible with each other. They are not. Only after a terrible 3 hours long customer service call with someone who hardly knew what they were talking about. Did I learn that you cannot have two modems on one plan they’ll literally force you to buy another plan to have 2 in one house. Unless you wanna do a bulk plan with at least several different buildings included on the plan. Don’t advertise that all your stuff is easily compatible when it’s not. I just wanted two modems across a 3000 square foot house. If your looking to switch over to Shaw I’d suggest looking else where first. This should be your last choice.

The central Shaw Customer Service is worst. Our modem kept disconnecting two-three times a week. When we went to store they told us that they knew about the issue and it’s the modem that we have to change. If you already know you have modem issue, why not send a recall notice or an email saying that modem needs to be replaced???After receiving the new modem we couldn’t activate it from the Blue Curve app. We called the support center. Upon asking about other steps after activating (as we still could not see the router in app) the lady over phone kept repeating ‘you need to return the old router’ and she repeated it 5 times, without answering the question and was not even trying to understand the question. Very rude customer rep. Definitely will give a second thought before renewing our contract.

If you have a choice between Shaw and Telus choose Shaw. The only thing that Telus has on Shaw is the wireless extender set up. Other than that Shaw is way better. The remotes are better, the tv boxes are better. When you speak to someone on the phone with Shaw they are located in Canada. TELUS call center is located in the Philippines. So Shaw employs Canadians on Canadian soil. If Shaw serviced the Beaverly area I would sign back up. Shaw needs to figure their wifi extenders out though. People who have larger properties and/or homes need it. I know Shaw does security cameras. You would think a wifi extender would have came before security cameras for a company like Shaw.

Shaw used to be a good, family run business. They used to value client satisfaction. Lots of local techs. And used to be cost effective. I spent 4 hours and 38 minutes on hold with Shaw for support. I just had my bill increased (without my consent) to 180.00 a month as my contract expired. I phoned Customer retention and they could only match, not beat the Telus offer. I have been a loyal client for over 15 years...No more.

There was one girl that was super friendly and really wanted to help me, but unfortunately didn't know how. Everyone else had very poor customer service and basically just wanted to say sorry" and have me leave and didn't want to deal with me or the problem with connecting to Shaw that I was facing. When they couldn't help me
