S.S. Goldsmithing

Very honest and talented man! About half a year ago, the clasp on my designer bracelet had broke. Every other jeweller that I went to said that it needed to be replaced and that the original clasp could not be fixed without being damaged. I came into Salvatores shop and he said that he could fix the clasp for me without damaging it. Not only did he fix it perfectly and make it look brand new, he charged a fraction of the price that other jewellers wanted to charge for just replacing the clasp. Today I came into Salvatores shop with a bent ring. He fixed it for me on the spot in less than two minutes and refused to take any payment, even when I offered multiple times! I recommend his shop to all my friends and family members.

I took my dad's Bloodstone ring in to S.S. Goldsmiths because another jeweller broke the stone while sizing it. Salvatore said he could not fix it, but sent me to Green's Lapidary to see if they may be able to fix it. They did a great job! As for Salvatore, what a great and honest business man!! To turn me away and send me somewhere else is uncommon these days. Most people would have said they could fix it or replace it, but to send me somewhere else rather than take my money?!! Very, very honest and nice man. I would not hesitate to send my friends and family to S.S. Goldsmithing! If I could rate him higher I would have!!

Salvatore is the best! He does the work right there and was able to fix my boyfriend’s silver chain in the spot. And so friendly and reasonable. I’d recommend everyone to Salvatore from now on without question : )

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BUISNESS! I came across them on google because I needed an adjustment done and I was more than pleased with the service! Salvatore I believe was his name did everything he could to help me and make sure I was pleased with the adjustment and at the end basically refused payment. He sent me home with a baggy of my left over stainless links from the necklace and followed covid guidelines! 5 stars! Thank you so much for helping me quickly and affordably.

I had a gold semi-mount ring manufactured somewhere else and one centre stone to be inserted. I came to S.S. Goldsmithing and asked if the stone can be set into this semi-mount ring. The jeweler Mr. Spadafora said he can do that; I left the ring and the stone to this jeweler.When I picked the ring three days later, I found that the stone was inserted crooked. The stone was set not fixing it down tight to the stone’s nest, it was fixed hoovering above the setting. When I consulted with other jewelers, they told me that this is a bad practice to hoover the stone over the setting, as any hitting of the hard surface can break the stone, as it is not fixed tight to its base. Also, the stone was damaged, as it was rubbed on the sides. The story with the damaged stone was addressed by me bringing it to a lapidary who could re-facet the stone. The cost of re-faceting was covered by S.S. Goldsmithing. The re-faceted stone was re-inserted by S.S. Goldsmithing and still crooked, as the prong were already bent and cut in this crooked way. Unfortunatelly, this was not corrected by S.S. Goldsmithing.Every time I am wearing this ring on my finger, this crooked position of the stone makes me upset. I am really upset bringing this job to S.S. Goldsmithing. Making this ring cost me almost $1000, but with the crooked stone it looks like a joke. This is how a beautiful ring idea can be easily ruined by a jeweler.Three stars from me mainly because the re-faceting of the stone was covered by S.S. Goldsmithing in that dispute; the overall stone setting is horrible.

I can't recommend this service. The production time was delayed and we were not warned about the delay. We waited two more weeks after the promised deadline and contacted the master ourselves. We received wedding rings of not the best quality. I am surprised that there is such a high rating here. Maybe we were unlucky with the master .
