Rented a Uhaul from the Alliston location to have it returned the next day. Upon picking up the Uhaul they had agreed to charge $191 plus mileage if over 120km.When we finished with the Uhaul we called the U Haul 1-800 number and asked if we were able to drop off at another location free of charge as it was only 5 minutes away from where we moved. The representative on the phone said yes no problem and waived the fee. We returned to Uhaul between 530-6pm the next day.A few days later we had received the bill for our Uhaul with an additional $500 dollars. The Alliston location claimed no representative from Uhaul would have told us we could drop it off at a different location and also charged us for a total of 3 days.I am so unbelievably frustrated as we were told one thing and then charged for what the representative told us. I have never in my life had such a negative/rude experience with Uhaul. We agreed to $191 dollars plus the mileage not what we had been charged. We were in the process of disputing the bill when they just went ahead and charged our account. This is unethical and wrong as we did not agree to these charges.Do not rent from them.

DO NOT RENT A UHAUL FROM HERE! Would have given 0 stars if I could’ve. Reserved a truck one month in advance to go on pick up day to find out that they had absolutely no trucks there. I was offered a truck in Barrie and still having to pay regular price. It would’ve been nice to be informed that a truck wouldn’t be there to make other arrangements.

We arrived to pickup our truck but we realized it was blocked in by other Uhaul trucks. We were using the mobile checkin but since no one physically works there we waited 2.5 hours for someone to show up to move the trucks. Once we had our truck we found out they were using it for storage?!? Absolutely a waste of time dealing with this location… go anywhere else!!!

I have tried to reserve a U-Haul trailer from here on numerous occasions. The U-Haul site always says that there is trailers available for the day/time I request, and I have never once received a trailer from here. They have always called and informed me that it is not available and suggest an alternate time/date/location to pick up. The alternate location is never anywhere remotely close (Bradford most recently, usually Brampton) and it is always very out of the way of the direction I'm going. When this is mentioned they never offer an alternate from a location in that direction, but simply cancel my reservation.I don't know if this is specific issue to this location, but I've only ever had the issue when trying to reserve here so I have to conclude that it is. Don't bother wasting your time.

The kid at the counter isn't the brightest bulb in the pack, I reserved a truck and he let it go to someone else. But bad service seems to be my Super power. Whatever can go wrong, will go wrong. Even when you pre book a truck with a credit card.

Worst experience from beginning to end. The truck I reserved was not in the system when I went to pick it up. I advised I want to drop off in Alliston and they said that's fine. Then I come to find out there is no drop off center there. When I was finally able to figure out where the drop off center is (Barrie) the self serve check out was not working. Was on hold for 30+ min trying to figure it out before I was finally able to get home after moving/driving for 12 hrs. VERY FRUSTRATING!

Reserved truck and some supplies. Good thing I did mobile check in otherwise would have never gotten my order. Never got the supplies though. Wanted to go in to store to grab some more boxes and packing supplies, well turns out they don't like being open. Too bad didn't look at reviews from before. Seems to be the common theme, spent about half the day calling and driving around to other places trying to get the necessary items. Local uhauls only do equipment rentals and anything with supplies suck just as bad.

Wasn't open during posted hours, doesn't answer phone. Construction garbage around building, wasn't sure if they were even still in business.

Tammy was amazing - she truly went above and beyond to make our move a stress free experience! I can't recommend her and the service enough, 5 stars and she earned every single one.
