Superior Shores Hotel

This hotel was ok, it was a place to sleep. The murals and pictures were nice but that's about it. The elevator door slammed into us every time we used it, there are also buttons missing to select the down/up buttons. The toilet clogged the very first time it was used. Phone didn't work. Hallways had a musty mildew smell. Pillows and sheets were scratchy and uncomfortable. Bed way too soft. We probably had the most uncomfortable sleep of our entire trip. Not the worst place I've stayed but could use some serious improvements.

1 - rooms are redone and very nice, clean, bed was super comfy with superb pillows2 - Parking was safe, wa told they have security and cameras, considering its historically a sketchy section of downtown3 - unfortunately, the soundproofing sucks, you can hear people in rooms beside u or under you, also if anyone talking in hallways4 - I signed onto the wifi and for some reason, my email would not sign on unless I put in my password, that's SUS; I just used my data plan5 - I paid for a 2 bed room but they *upgraded me* to a one bedroom, bathroom was super small, like Japan small6 - was told id get a $20 discount for small room but still got charged for the 2 bed room the next day, I was too tired to even realize till after I left the city and was at my next stop

Wonderful hotel.They have been open for about a month.This is an old hotel that has been totally renovated.Everything is brand new, beds, 49” inch TV, flooring, toilet & bath tub/shower.Has Keurig coffee maker, mini fridge & microwave in room.Rooms have laminate flooring.Great for people with allergies.Multiple ports to plug in your usb cables to charge phones.Right now breakfast is basic but will be expanding as soon as the breakfast room is finished renovations.Air conditioning units works great.The staff said a restaurant and a rooftop patio should be up and running in September.Staff is very friendly.

This place is amazing and beautiful. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are beautifully decorated. Our bed was very comfortable. We also appreciated the technology built into the room making it very easy and convenient for charging our devices. We really appreciated being able to make and enjoy a coffee in our room.

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel a few weeks ago, and without a doubt, it surpassed all my expectations, making it the finest establishment I have experienced thus far. The level of service provided was truly exceptional, with the staff displaying unwavering professionalism and a remarkable willingness to accommodate guests. Notably, the rooms were impeccably clean, reflecting a commitment to maintaining high standards.During our visit, we encountered a predicament where all other hotels were fully booked. However, the hotel staff went above and beyond their duty to assist us in securing a place to stay for the night, offering an exceedingly reasonable arrangement. Their genuine efforts and extraordinary hospitality left a lasting impression.Without hesitation, I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to others seeking an exceptional accommodation experience.

A very nice hotel to say the least. They have just opened and are transitioning to become a Best Western. Rooms are brand new and clean, location is very close to the downtown core of Thunder Bay and the parking lot is a good size. Modern rooms and stylish as well. Janet at the front desk was very knowledgeable and assisted me with a smile. Greta job Janet!

I would rate this 5 stars since it’s newly renovated and has lots of potential. They’re in between transitioning to be BW. Staff were so pleasant and nice and welcoming. It was a bit dusty from all the renovations but the bed was so comfortable. Cute shower room. It has a microwave, coffee machine and cable.

We booked this hotel for one night. Our Room was beautiful and good size however the sheets were dirty then i had to ask the staff for fresh linen which i had to change myself .Elevator was not in service and we had to take our luggage to 4th floor with the help of a staff member. But it was hard climbing up and down by stairs for any little thing we needed.Overall not worth the price we paid for one night.
