LifeLabs Medical Laboratory Services

I decided to try this location as it is closer to my home than other Life-Labs. The parking lot has a fence through the center that you have to go around to get in. They took a woman that had a later appointment before me. The technician refused to listen to my advice as to where to take blood, ended up digging around which was quite painful. The second tech listened and did a much better job. I will go other labs that are a bit further away next time.

After seeing my doctor, I went there for a walk-in to take blood. I was told I had to wait an hour. I waited 1 hour and 50 minutes. During that time, I witnessed the staff verbally bark at someone asking polite questions, turn away a mother who asked if she could just step out for 5 minutes to collect her child, and rudely refuse to help an elderly man call his daughter to get a ride home, etc.During my almost two-hour wait, aside from those with appointments, 3 people came in after me for the walk-in and were all called up and attended to before me. I felt too embarrassed by their behaviour to go and ask why others in the walk-in queue who came much later were seen first, but the unfairness stung.When I was finally called, the medical attendant was curt, but thankfully the process itself only took 3 minutes and I was finally able to leave that place. Will not go there again.

Please “DO NOT USE” this LifeLab location as it is not place friendly to service senior citizens as on Nov 17, 2022 as I was there with my wife for our blood work analysis; unfortunately I did not have an appointment and asked to be seen in between clients w/appointments - Waited for 2 hours and never got any service from them - not even a glass of water for wife when requested from the receptionist - Basically we were ignored for the whole time as we waited in vain in the room for our turn.Moreover, in the end we left and went a Dynacare Labs on 2251 Lawrence Ave E location and received service within 5 min of arriving there without an appointment and even got help for myself to undress for the blood work - Excellent service from Dynacare personnel (especially Rosalie).Furthermore, I would recommend in the future that this LifeLabs location to have a sign posted outside saying that “They do not service Senior Citizens w/out an appointment at all instead of totally ignoring us.Please “DO NOT WASTE” your valuable time at this particular location - Awful service from the personnel there."

Quick and easy spot to come get your blood work done and your urine test. Walkins start at 8 am and online appointments start at 830am. So if your are like myself, checked the online system the night before and saw that all the morning bookings were taken. This worked out perfectly coming in at 8am. Print out your requistion form as their email server is sometimes down.PLEASE NOTE: ECG TESTS BEGIN AT 830AM.

I hate having bloodwork done but the technicians here are great. They are friendly and efficient. My appointment was for 10 and I was home by 10:30. You do need to make an appointment or you will have a long wait. Not the staff's fault that's just how this company works.

If I could give 0 star, I would never hesitate for it. They are rude and very very unprofessional. Specifically the women with short blond hair. They are shouting at people and has no respect to anyone. I don't know how they hired such people.

Terrible just terrible, reception is on their phone so often and takes 1 person every 10 minutes. I'm not sure if she's slow or just new

What an amazing experience! I was accepted as a walk in ( appointments preferred ) and was greeted, and taken care of so efficiently. Allison made me feel so comfortable with the process, and valued as a patient. Highly recommend this located.

Terrible experience here today. The appointment was at 2. We arrived at 2:05 due to parking issues and we had to park far away. There was line up at the desk and no assistant. There were 6 people ahead of us with no appointment and got called out before us while we were waiting and finally got our test done 40 mins later than the scheduled appointment . When I asked why on the “status board” it’s showing that the wait time is 33 mins, the assistant on the desk asked me to lower my voice while she was standing 6’ away from Me and I couldn’t whisper !!

This lab is very busy. When the front desk is consistently manned then service is very good. I was seen pretty much according to my appointment time and the technician was very efficient.
