Poor customer service. The store owner has a temper and communicates in a very loud, hostile, and aggressive way. I was assisting a rescue picking up donations and I suppose by law she wasn't supposed to technically let us in to pick up donations (Covid-19). This was news to us when half way through our time there she suddenly began yelling directly at me to stay away from the windows. Very disappointed in the way she communicated. Now I have to wonder if she speaks to her staff in the same manner.

The older lady who runs this place needs to learn a thing or two about PROPERLY interacting with customers and adequate customer service! She was extremely rude and unhelpful as a whole, and made my experience here very bad. Will not be returning and would not recommend this pet valu because of the ill-mannered staff!!!! Wish I could give 0 stars and the owner really needs to be dealt with as well as a much needed attitude check - and i’m not the only one who thinks so based on the other reviews…

Great selection of dog products and Alex was super helpful when it came to finding Bueller the right fitting booties for winter.

Very well stocked with dog's necessities and super friendly staff. And, yes whoever will be responding to this review, please let your staff seat every now and then.

Friday June 17th, 2022, 4:50 pm I just left the store because three staff and not one could muster a hello. No one greeted my puppy or even smiled. The darker haired lady did shoot me a dirty look. Store was empty and I can see why, the staff is unpleasant. This is common for Pet Value but today was particularly bad. I did go in for something specific and planned to buy but chose not to based on my experience.

While I stood outside waiting 15 minutes for my order that was ready for pickup" (that the staff had clearly not picked before confirming my order) I overheard one staff member say to a customer how understaffed they are. Not 5 minutes later did that same employee turn away a young woman arriving for an interview citing the owner "had emailed her they're not hiring anymore"."

Very rude staff and unprofessional. For some reason they have forgotten its the customer who feeds them. Looking at other reviews it seems I'm not the only one who has issues with staff at this location. You think you would change the way you do things when several people have an issue with your treatment of them guess not. All I wanted to do was return an item without going inside the store because I have serious anxiety issues from this empodemic. I wanted an explanation but the first Rep wouldn't provide me with one and wouldn't let me talk to the manager and kept telling me to call the customer service line. When I called again the manager was equally unhelpful citing its company policy to not accept credit card info over the phone and they couldn't take my credit card inside. Weird went to another location and they totally accomondated me. Took my credit card over the phone and refunded the money to me.

I thought people who worked at pet stores are supposed to be nice. One would think that someone who loves animals has a kind heart. WRONG!! This pet store is the pet store from absolute HELL. I had a terrible experience with a rude a older women working at the store. I was followed around and spoken to in a derogatory, foul way. This store needs to rethink their staff choices.

Excellent service and very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They made my anxious pup feel at home, and helped us find the right products. Will definitely be coming back to shop at this location!
