We ordered the family platter recently when we had guests over for dinner. Everyone enjoyed the variety of the food, and there was more than enough for everyone. We will definitely be ordering again from this location.

I ordered tika chicken on rice-The food was fresh and came with a good portion. The chicken was moist and tender with a great flavour. I highly recommend the food here. The sore is very clean and the staff is very friendly. A hidden gem.

This is a hidden gem for Afghan food since it's inside a small store. I first tried it a couple of years ago but have been coming back fairly frequently recently. The chicken tikka is well seasoned and cooked through. Definitely far more flavorful than a lot of bigger names that you would hear about. I am not personally big on The lamb shank but my family loves it and it is also very well cooked with meat coming off the bone nicely. Very good value for money since all items come with a side of kabuli pulao. I would recommend this place.

I wouldn’t believe some of the higher rated reviewers about this place, I suspect that they had some of their friends to write them! I tried it out on the review basis and was disappointed to say the least, I ordered the chapli kabab chicken $10.99. What I got was 2 thin patties of… I’m not sure what I really couldn’t tell if it was chicken or not texture was off and they looked a little burnt, with a salad that could fit into a child’s small hand and green sauce with naan. The flavour of the “chicken” was kind of bland the sauce was ok the best thing about this meal was the naan. All this and I had to wait close to 20 minutes for it. This had me thinking it would be fresh made. Unfortunately it was a misconception, too bad I really like middle eastern food,not anything special for $12 and change.

Loved it. We had the family platter. Really good sauces, and portions and the meat was well seasoned and juicy. Qabuli pulao and chicken Karahi complimented the meats well. Naan was good too, it could be a tad less dry but that just might be a personal preference. Salad was fresh as well. Hope the quality is maintained. Definitely worth trying out and the price is amazing as well.

This is a great takeout restaurant inside a grocery store. The customer service is very friendly and excellent. This place has the best Afghani lamb shank with yummy kabuli rice. The beef seekh kebobs are great as well, but the lamb shank beats them all. One of my family favorite spots for takeout. Highly recommend to call ahead and order.

I ordered family platter paid $62.00 it was in Ramadan iftar I received the rice was dry not fully cooked the beef kabab dry and looks been cooked and left for along time I was very disappointed because my guest didn’t ate the food I advised everyone to consider ordering food from halal Rezq I spoke to the lady back in a kitchen she told me if you don’t like it don’t comeback here anymore instead of apologising to customers, she was really rude

HALAL REZQ is where you can find all the authentic Afghan dishes with the best taste and quality. I have tried all of their dishes and they are outstanding. It is my favourite place in town.
