Great selection of food! Excellent service .. water always topped up and servers were very friendly and seated us quickly. I noticed they were very quick to clear and clean tables for new customers to be seated. Very busy but the kitchen kept up with demand of food. Well done. We will be back for sure.

Foody Goody had all the Chinese buffet staples prepared well. There was the added bonus that they serve bubble tea! I had the classic milk tea and it was so good. Would definitely go again.

Foody Goody Chinese Buffet Restaurant
It's been more than a few years since we've dined at Foody Goody but it was Father's Day and Chinese food was requested. Pleasantly surprised that the space was as large as it is being in a strip mall. We were there right at 5pm which was perfect. Everything was full, fresh and hot and every dish sampled was tasty. A few little preference things but on the whole, it was a great meal. We were checked on multiple times by staff and water was refilled without asking. The restroom wasn't as sparkling clean as I would have liked.

We went there for a lunch buffet on a Friday. The selections were good. We liked most of the noodles and chicken and pork dishes, except for the dry ribs. Wontons were great. I would also recommend the wonton soup (they ran out of wontons and it was not refilled while we were there, unfortunately).The overall experience was good. Would like to go there again, one day.

Foody Goody has been a staple in the Winnipeg community since before I even existed.They easily have some of the best chicken in the game, possibly the city. However it's just legs, thanks inflation.They've done a really good job keeping prices down and quality up too.Its a great place for a casual lunch, dinner or family celebration.

I recently visited Foody Goody with my family and had an incredibly disappointing experience with the restaurant manager or supervisor on duty. Her discriminatory and despicable attitude left a lasting negative impression on our dining experience. Our daughter, full of innocent curiosity and joyful laughter, became the target of her discriminatory mindset. Rather than embracing the vibrancy of a child's spirit, she approached our table with hostility, demanding that we keep our daughter quiet. Her words were not only hurtful but also completely devoid of empathy. This incident left us feeling disheartened and disrespected. It's disheartening to see someone in a position of authority display such discriminatory behavior. Restaurants should be places where everyone feels welcome, regardless of age, background or race.It is my hope that this review serves as a wake-up call for the management to address the inappropriate behavior of their staffs. It is imperative that they implement training programs to educate their employees about diversity, empathy, and the importance of creating an inclusive environment. I hope that future patrons will not have to endure the same hurtful experience that my family and I had to go through.Let us work towards a society where discrimination and prejudice are relics of the past, and where everyone, including young children, can enjoy a meal without fear of being subjected to derogatory comments or mistreatment.

We had arrived on Wednesday right after the rush at 7, finding it hard to find a table due to nothing being yet cleared. The food that was out looked like it had been under a heat lamp for a while and some of it tasted different, like the egg rolls and fries. It was odd because it would appear that food should have been freshly replenished. I had some sushi and then they stopped bringing it out. Same with the chicken balls and sweet and sour sauce. I was watching the cleaning lady pick up pineapples from around the container on the table and putting these back in. This was quite unhygienic for multiple reasons. Usually the food is fine for price but this time it was as if they brought out reheated lunch leftovers to serve. This will be our last time here. I posted the tray of deserts which should have also been replenished. The only good thing was that staff were busy keeping things clean. Clean but not replenished. Same price.

Definitely not how far cry from its former glory. This restaurant was absolutely disgusting. The seating benches were covered with food, and stains. Leather was cracked and ripped. Carpet on the floor had ground in food. I'll definitely never go again.

BETTER TO GO YES BUFFET IN WINNIPEG.. DON'T COME HEREI went with my spouse and we have tried a lot of Chinese buffets all over the world. But truly speaking, this restaurant buffet was worst one. The food quality and the varieties are so so poor to explain. On contrary, the buffet price was pretty high as compared to their dishes. In main course, they only served noodles, no authentic Chinese items were there like orange chicken, lemon chicken, prawn item etc. Ohh one more thing they didn't have any prawn item or even seafood item in their buffet. I am giving my honest review. Please don't go for this restaurant ever...

I recently dined at Foody Goody, a Chinese buffet restaurant, and unfortunately, I found the food to be underwhelming. While the restaurant had a decent variety of dishes, the quality didn't quite meet my expectations. For a better experience with a wider range of options, I would suggest trying Ye's Buffet instead.PS- Very few vegetarian options if don't eat meat.
