Wild Tails Grooming and Daycare

I regularly bring my pup to Wild Tails for nail trims. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. My guy can be dog reactive and so I love how they make sure the animals have lots space when they're coming and going for appointments

Friendly service and good for basic grooming. I took my dog for a de-shedding and she still had tons of hair coming off of her for days. No difference before her de-shedding service.

I have taken my golden retriever here twice in the last 6 months for a full groom. The first time was based solely on Google reviews, as they all sounded so positive! The groomer went over in detail with me what I was looking for, which was a full cut making sure to remove all of the feathering and long hair on my guy. After I had picked him up, I realized how long his hair still was and called to ask if it could be fixed - They were amazing and had him come right back in to fix it up at no charge, apologizing for the unfinished groom and applying a 20% discount for his next visit. Great customer service and I was SO happy with his final cut & the de-shedding lasted a very long time. I decided to bring him back again this past week, to utilize the 20% discount, and I am very disappointed and feel defeated again by the outcome. I was charged an extra $20 on top of the base rate for excessive shedding"

I took my large malamute/shepherd to Wildtails and they did a really good job with him. He’s usually very nervous but he seemed to do quite well. They did a great job!

My little old doggie girl was happy to get a nice bath and tidy-up, and the place has a good atmosphere. We'll be back!I liked how we could book the appointment online, from a set schedule of assigned slots like nail trims, baths, or full grooming, and got a call-back because it was her first visit. I also appreciated getting an automatic appointment reminder via email.

Excellent service and definitely a pro. I've groomed my cat in 3 different places before coming here, and my experience was either a horrible, patchy trim, or my cat came out stressed and unhappy. But with Nanaimo Pet Services, yes the grooming took a while, but she really knew what she was doing. My cat came out a pretty lion with a handsome mane, and he was so calm and happy. The groomer really took her time to gain my cat's trust. Amazing and highly recommended!

They groom my aussie shepherd extremely well. She comes back happy, smelling fresh and well groomed. I appreciate how they always tell me how she was for the day too. Great service for any dog parent.

Cannot recommend Nanaimo Pet Services enough for longhair cat grooming! We took our sweet Persian/Himalayan mix here, and they did an absolutely stellar job. She was super relaxed when we picked her up, and was excited to run around the house and test out her new ‘do. Will definitely be returning.

Took my Goldador to Wild Tails for her first professional groom. She looks fabulous. Her coat is lustrous and her feet look so good! She wasn’t stressed at all when I collected her. In all the years she’s been my companion she’s never looked this gorgeous. The staff are wonderful. The business is full of friendly, lovely professional dog lovers. I highly recommend these people to take care of your doggies fur styling needs.
