Stopped in for lunch on a Monday. The lady working the front was lovely and friendly. The food is regular diner fare, but it was absolutely delicious and fresh. And reasonably priced. You can tell that this is a labour of love. Would definitely come back.

1st time visit when first opened.The hubby had the breakfast and was delicious.I had the ReubenIt was OK, but was really disappointed the cook didn't make gravy as I wanted poutine as a side. Reuben was made different than I'm use to, so will try the breakfast when we go back again.Cute little place.

Typical cozy diner, we came here for breakfast. Food was absolutely amazing and the cost is extremely worth it as well. The staff always made sure we were take care of. I spilt my coffee on the floor and was immediately helped out! One of Marmoras hidden gems. If anyone is on a road trip definitely check this place out.

We stopped @ this restaurant on our way home from the cottage. The food was very good the service was friendly and welcoming. The restaurant and washroom were white gloves" clean."

Not Just Another “Diner”As a member of the Madoc & District Chamber of Commerce, I recently had the pleasure of attending a Breakfast Networking event at Miners Restaurant in Marmora, Ontario. I was so impressed, not only by the food but by the positive energy, the inviting atmosphere, and the incredibly friendly and welcoming staff. The food was presented in a very appealing manner and I was told by the other repeat guests that their meals are always consistent. The breakfast I had was delicious and I was amazed that they were able to find (as a sub for the home fries and toast) such healthy-looking and delicious tomatoes! However, what really stood out to me was the service-oriented approach and the high standards of the owner, who we had the pleasure of meeting and learning about a bit of his background, mission, and values. His decades of experience in the hospitality industry certainly show up in his newest venture ( they brought ice water to the table - nobody does that anymore) and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an exceptional diner experience in Marmora!If you need to have a business meet-up or host a larger group, they have a private room available :)

This was a very nice experience and a very friendly vibe. Perfect reprieve from our long drive to Ottawa and owner was very knowledgeable of the area, we went to see the mine on his suggestion.

VERY friendly and accommodating staff. Food is simple, fresh and filling. Good portions, great coffee (I drink it black).VERY CLEAN.It is great how the owners and staff are committed to learning alot about the mine and community and passing it on to customers.A good meal and a local history lesson all in one stop!Will definitely be back.

Love the breakfast. Best Peameal Bacon I have had. Service is fabulous. Look forward to having many more meals
