It's incredible. It's a labyrinth and a maze; narrow aisles, packed with everything you could ever want, including a whole liquor store, fresh meal options and salads, so many varieties of soft drinks, and on and on. And friendly staff too. Possibly the best little grocery store I have ever been too. A gem!

My sister and I are staying nearby and this store has been a life saver. They have an entire grocery store packed into a micro location. The staff is super friendly and prices are reasonable.

Best market in DETROIT hands down, I'd even say the best in Michigan. Used to live in the apartments above the store and got to know the staff well. It's always a nice reunion when I get a chance to swing thru. Great selection, awesome staff and great atmosphere. Prices are good as well for being downtown. 100% recommended

Living in downtown I do 99% of my grocery shopping here. The staff is SO friendly and accommodating (beyond what they have to by far) they remember familiar faces and are quick to help with anything. Yes we all know inflation has made everything expensive but you’d be shocked how many options they fit into such a tiny space! From household items to hygiene products, cleaning necessities, general groceries, fresh produce, prepped hot meals, frozen good, floral arrangements, limitless options for adult beverages, sweets, real baked goods and so on.Easily one of the most convenient and necessary spots in downtown, and open late!Thank you City Market!

They have everything you need and they’re open til 2am! Sweet tooth late at night? They got it. Need a drink? They got it. Fresh fruits and vegetables? They got it. Household goods? They got it. Toiletries? They got it. Dairy? They got it. 10 minute walk from the Fort Pontchartrain Wyndham hotel, even closer to Townhouse, Chase tower, fifth third bank, waterfront, The Guardian building, General motors, building, 150. Excellent market, open late with just about everything you need.

Great location, quick walk from the Ren Cen. Reminds me of cozy NYC bodegas. Could use more vegan options, but we were thankful for the ready-to-eat falafel and gluten-free baguettes to get us through a long weekend.
