Mount Baldy Ski Area

Great ski hill , the vibe is laid back staff friendly . Chalet has great food , the bar upstairs is very nice and cozy with large windows facing the hill . The runs have variety to challenge everyone from newbie to hardcore shredder. The staff have been making more and more jumps and skill areas for snowboarding. The vertical is not as high as loch lomonds . However the hill faces south and west, so you get the sun all day. Sunsets are nice ! They only have a t bar but a new quad lift is being installed ,finally!

It's a great ski hill and has been forever. The new owners are great and are making many positive changes to the hill. The hospitality is great and everyone is so nice. The hills are always groomed to perfection and the trails are fun to take. I haven't personally done the tubing yet but I've heard it is a blast. I highly recommend Mount Baldy to anyone who is coming to Thunder Bay to visit.

I had by far the best experience at mount baldy. Tubing here is so fun. We reached there by evening and there was the beautiful view of mount baldy. We also sat by the wonderful fireplace. There's a bar and a cafe just near the entrance. The indoor is beautiful as well where you can enjoy the food and drinks with the heart warming view of mountain from the large windows.

Great snow conditions this year. Good grooming. All we need is a chair and 5 stars

Great value for money, friendly staff. We are beginners and the owner was around. He gave us great tips on how to ski, guided us with the right type and fit for our gear and made us feel very comfortable at the slopes. We had a great time. Will visit again

Great place for skiing, tubing and having outdoor fun! Pizzas are excellent.

Went there for a charity event to raise funds for United Way of Thunder Bay. It was my first time being here and I really enjoyed it here. Good inside seating area. Small kitchen but great food. The pizza was delicious. Had lots of fun tubing down the hill. You could catch speed really fast, and its great thrill. However there were a few bumps at the bottom of the hill for which if you are not prepared could seriously hurt you. So watch you bum. They also have this magic carpet" they call it which is an alternate to the regular cable chairs. I know it's not major but it's an experience. They also had a bonfire going on if you want to stay outside and embrace the cold a little.Overall it's a great place for the whole family to go and visit

Great hill for downhill skiing, only 20 min drive from Thunder Bay.

If you don't ski or snowboard, then this is a great place for tubing. Garette who was running the hill made the experience safe and fun!
