Kaylyn and Sean were amazing throughout our engagement and wedding photos. We were a little nervous because we aren't super comfortable in front of a camera but they made us feel right at home. We couldn't have been happier with their service or with the outcome of our photos. We would HIGHLY recommend them to everyone!!!

McLachlan Studios was the BEST investment we made for our wedding day. They were amazing from the get-go! We met Sean and Kaylyn for a cocktail before booking them to ensure we were a good fit, and that was their idea...I was ready to hire them as soon as I saw their work! They made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera(s) and everything we received from them was amazing, our engagement photos, wedding photos and wedding video! Can't thank them enough for the excellent services and personality they provided for us for one of our most important days ever!

If you want to be completely wowed by authentic-yet-polished, modern-but-timeless, give-you-all-the-feels photography, do yourself a favour and hire The McLachlans.I was apprehensive about having my photos taken – I’ve always felt un-photogenic and I was pretty sure it was going to be painfully awkward to stand around for a photoshoot. I was completely wrong – we had so much fun having our photos taken (in fact, taking shots with just my husband was actually one of my favourite parts of my wedding day). Kaylyn has an incredible gift for creating (and then capturing) intimacy and joy. The pictures that the McLachlans produced are beyond anything I could have hoped for (confession: I cried when I saw both our engagement and wedding photos!). I am so grateful that we made the investment in stunning and stellar photography - one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning. Thank you, Sean and Kaylyn!!

We were lucky enough to get The McLachlan's to photograph / video our wedding, and I can't imagine having anyone else capture the best day of our lives! From our initial call to the wedding day to getting our photos, the experience was incredible. Kaylyn and Sean are so warm and easy to be around, we felt connected to them right from the get go!! I found Sean and Kaylyn at a wedding fair. I had seen their website and was interested in their work but meeting them in person sealed the deal for me! They are such an amazing genuine couple that just happen to take incredible photos. They have a very natural and relaxed way about them. I had many questions leading up to the wedding and they were so prompt in responding to my many emails. They also sent lots of helpful wedding tips and were so proactive about everything.On the wedding day they arrived on time and ready to go. They were so comfortable to be around it was just like hanging out with friends. We felt so relaxed and the pictures show. Pictures were delivered quickly through the online album. We also were able to meet up with Kaylyn to pick up our heirloom box. It is such an amazing part of the whole experience. To have that special, hand-made-for-you item is so incredible. Love showing our friends and family it!!!Honestly couldn't have picked better photographers for our wedding. If I were to do it again I would book them again in a heartbeat!! LOOK NO FURTHER...McLachlan Studio's is ASTOUNDING!!!!We decided to elope as both of our families are all over Canada. Sean & Kaylynn were amazing to us & provided us with high quality photo's, and a beautiful video for us to share with our family. Kaylynn took time out of her busy schedule to meet with me to discuss every little detail, they were so thorough, and they made everything so easy & comfortable on the big day. We look at our wedding photo's and are still amazed by them all. They really captured who we are, and the love that we as a family share. We love the fact that we, or our family, can watch our video whenever we want. I can't even put into words how grateful & thankful we are for their services. This was one of the most beautiful moments in our lives, and to be able to look back on it whenever we want is absolutely priceless. They completely blew our expectation's out of the water. On top of all that they were both so respectful and professional, yet we still felt so relaxed and had so much fun in the process. Where do I begin? As a photographer myself, I was super picky about who we were going with for our wedding. I looked through over 200 portfolios, and then Kaylyn got in touch with me! We fell in love with her talent, but even more so her and Sean as fellow humans!They sent us the most adorable care package after we booked that included the sweetest book to help me write in memories from the whole experience! We came all the way from Texas to get married at Orcas Island, Washington and they met us there. Kaylyn, Sean, and their brother Keenan (who assisted with video, and climbing hills!) were so kind and down-to-earth.Kaylyn was fantastic at helping me create a timeline for the wedding day (I sure as heck didn't know what I was doing!) and answering all the crazy questions I came up with along the way. They documented every part of the day we could dream up, did some amazing location scouting to make sure we had the best scenery, and most importantly they knew how to keep us having fun while shooting!I got some very timely sneak peeks and my gallery was delivered within the contracted time-frame! The timeline for the video was a little longer than our gallery, but SO worth the wait! Then we got a little surprise delivery in the mail (I won't spoil it for future clients!) that made us so happy!The McLachlan's are talented AND professional and I hope we get to meet them again someday. <3 What are you waiting for? Kaylyn and Sean are beautiful souls and absolutely incredible photographers. We had so much fun during our wedding photo shoot and felt so comfortable! The day after our wedding we received our sneak peek photo album. We were amazed at how absolutely gorgeous the photos were and how accurately they captured our relationship and the emotions we were feeling. Nothing gets past the McLachlans, not even the fleeting hand-squeezes, the way he looks at you when you are not looking, or the tears welling up in your father’s eyes!The McLachlans photographed our wedding perfectly, giving us a way to re-visit the best day of our lives over and over again. The sneak peek photos are incredible, and we can’t wait to receive the full wedding album in a few weeks! We can’t thank you enough, Kaylyn and Sean!

When my fiance and I first met Kaylyn and Sean it was like we were long lost friends. We immediately hit it off which was easy to do with their loving personality. We sgared the same vision and they had lots of amazing ideas for the day of. I couldnt waot for them to photograph our wedding and knew we maxe the right choice. Kaylyn reminded me of so many small details i didnt even think of in preperation for our big day and not just with photos! They were both very up front and details with what the day would look lile so there was no confusion amd no stress. Fast forward to the day of our wedding. They were like apart of out guests looking around and capturing the beauty and the love. Even accommodating some last minute decisions at the drop of a hat. When we got the phptos back it took my breath away, they capture the adventure, the love, and the little things i didnt notice! It was like seeing it threw their amazing eyes the moments we were to busy to see. I cant recommend Kaylyn and Sean enough you will NOT be disappointed!
