8 of us stopped in for lunch, out for a ride on Hastings trail with side by sides. Great selection of food, excellent quality, great prices. Oh, it has Caesar Sunday specials too! Highly recommend.

The atmosphere and food were very good, but we waited a long time for our bill once our meal was completed and actually had to ask the manager for it. It was a Friday, and the place was starting to fill up, so that may have been a contributing factor. The food itself was very good, though.

We like this establishment from being there multiple times in the last couple of years. This time we ordered fish and chips (which were their regular good standard) and a large veggie pizza so we would have leftovers for tomorrow. I wish I had taken a picture. There were a few vegetables (maybe 10 lumps of mushroom, zucchini, red peppers and onions) and a bit of Feta cheese that had melted into the middle leaving much of the edge around the outside as pizza dough with some tomato sauce on it. We looked at it and when the waiter returned pointed out the lack of anything but dough and tomato sauce. He took it back to the kitchen and the pizza chef threw some big chunks of cold roasted veggies that looked like they belonged from some other meal on top and sent it back, cold pizza.We felt bad for the server who brought it back. Why would the chef do such a shoddy job on a $31 pizza? We took it home and will add cheese and other toppings. We often do this with a four dollar frozen pizza from the store and tastes as good as what we got from McGillies tonight. Bummer meal.

•Great vibe •Delicious food •Friendly hardworking staffWe grabbed take out and had a nice lunch beside the locks. Looking forward to dining in or enjoying their patio. LCBO and a grocery store make it a suitable detour off of nearby travel routes.

Wonderful restaurant. Lots of seating inside and a small patio out back too. Wish there was more of a view of the water and locks though. Great meals. I had fish and fries and lock14 beer. Delicious. Worked well for our 4 kids too.

McGillicafey's Pub and Eatery
Loved the vibe of our Saturday evening visit. Food was awesome as was the beer selection. It was busy with a 45 minute wait so we enjoyed a walk of the area before getting a phone call to tell us our table was ready. Service was wonderful too from Stephanie. Thank you!
