Trade Secrets Eastgate Square

Was really nervous to try out a new place and now I can't recommend this place more! I came to get my eyebrows waxed and it was an amazing experience. The lady was very nice, very gentle with the wax, and even colored them in for me after. They've never looked so good and it was a great price. 10/10

I understand I was trying to do a walk in appointment and expected I might get turned away but they didn’t even have a hair dresser in at all. Went down the hall to the other salon and even with an over packed saloon they still managed to get me and my mother in for a cut.Please call ahead as they don’t seem to have staff ready.I have done a walk in before but even with that off the table just seems odd that no hair dresser was available. Oh well the salmon around the corner thanks you as they had more people the. They can handle

Great customer service! Staff are very considerate of customer’s needs. Cass did a great job with my hair! I really liked her work. Would highly recommend getting hair done here.

UPDATE: owner has given a refund, however brows are still not fully healed. It was in fact not an allergic reaction, doctor said it was a chemical burn.If I could give a 0 I would. This was my first time doing a lamination and tint on my eyebrows. Throughout the process she explained nothing and rarely checked in while I waited between treatments. Because of this, I have two extremely painful skin burns on both sides of my face. Not once did this lady acknowledge the fact that my skin appeared irritated nor did she ask how I felt.On top of this, herself and the lady at the front desk made it very clear that they were confused on the pricing, meanwhile at the beginning I was told $85. They then she charged me $110 because of the threading she chose to do without asking me.In all honesty this is absolutely disgusting, to be paying that amount of money for a service that has caused me actual pain and wounds.

I used to go to Trade Secrets in Square One Mall when I lived in Mississauga, and after moving to Stoney Creek, I have to say the staff at Trade Secrets Eastgate are a million times kinder and friendlier.I get my eyebrows done at this location (waxing and threading) regularly. I usually go to Nadia and have always had great results with her. There was one time (this past February) where Nadia wasn't in and I went with another eyebrow lady (not sure of her name), and unfortunately had a bad experience....she spilled wax on the inner part of my eyebrow and instead of carefully wiping it off with oil she still used strips and ended up removing a good chunk of my eyebrow. She didn't say anything to me about it, and although I felt it a bit when it happened, I didn't notice until I looked in the mirror, at which point I was in shock. The lady did apologize and didn't charge me for the service this time. It has been about 3 months and they have almost grown back fully, still a bit to go. I have since only used Nadia for my eyebrows and will continue to do so. She really takes her time to do them and is very gentle. She always asks what I would like at the start of the service so that we're both on the same page throughout. Although I had the one bad experience, I will still continue to come here, as I've been doing so for 5 years now. The staff are still great. The store is very clean and well maintained.
