Love getting my nails done here. They are efficient and always ask for confirmation if I like the shape and colour of my nails. I get dip manicure and shellac toes and I’m never disappointed. Happy to support this local business :)

I like the family run business and I want to support local…BUT the cleanliness, sterilizing, using clean towels per customer and washing down the manicure tables doesn’t happen. If the health department comes to visit they might close down the business until healthy standards are followed.

Had a great experience today with Henry. He took his time with my difficult toes, and I left without feeling the pain I went inwith. Professional in verifying, cut, shaping and colour. While I have rated a 5 for Henry, overall given the nature of the business I would like to see more cleanliness, ie. cobwebs on the wall, machines for ultraviolet need a good scrub, as well as workstations. I will return to Henry.

I have been going there since she opened. I find lately that they are rushing like they do at Carleton place nail and spa, they don't pay attention to what they are doing, as well as taking phone calls, and doing other services at the same time.Often times I am nicked or hurt in the process of just a basic nail fill. I tip well and I do not think they appreciate it. They try to do to many clients at once and it takes away from a great spa experience. I understand doing more than one person, but not at the expense of the quality of work. They just assume the regulars will keep coming back.I tried to remain loyal, but I did not think they were loyal to me.

I had a terribly painful experience here. I was burned more than a five times and every time I would pull my hand away he would say oh this hurts?? he used a grinder so hard the tip of my nail actually broke off and after being burned my finger started to bleed, I requested a certain look with a photo and got NOTHING like the photo I showed. I couldn’t have it corrected as my nails were so sore, raw and bleeding that I’m now stuck with them for four weeks and the look just is not me. Had really high hopes but this man was very rough and rushing me through. If I could put half star I would but this isn’t an option.

Visited on a weekday for a pedi and I wasn’t disappointed! TU did an amazing job making my poor dry, hideous feet look pretty again! I didn’t feel rushed, as TU took her time making sure everything was perfect (and that foot massage made my week)Tu gets 5 stars - it was the 55 minute wait past my scheduled appointment time that has me putting 4 stars instead of five.I won’t hesitate to book again with Tu!!

This was my third time going to Almonte Nails & Spa for a dip powder set and may be my last. The young lady that does your nails goes too fast. She cut my cuticles on all my fingers on my left hand, then applied what I can only guess was rubbing alcohol. I was literally in so much pain and became really nervous anytime she'd go to file or cut my nails. If you're anything like me and have social anxiety, it can be hard to speak up when situations like this happen. I even tipped because everyone else did, but I wish I hadn't, or had only tipped the young man. I believe his name is Wang. He's much more delicate and careful.Plus it could be more clean. She removed her shoes while serving me, and one lady had her bare feet on a pedicure massage chair while browsing her phone. Just not very professional to me.If you want nice nails with designs they definitely can do them, but you should ask them to go slow.

My wife goes here on a regular basis, and so does my Aunt. Im absolutely fascinated with the designs they come home with. Their prices are great, and honestly I recommend coming here. It feels like a family atmosphere once you come back. They recognize you and remember your name after the first visit, and genuinely are happy when you return.Id also say their quality is great, as I have never heard “Iv broke a nail” since they have started coming here.
