Very nice for hiking, and also for mountain bike. It’s 10k from Schneider park to Conestoga college at roundabout.

This is an absolutely beautiful trail taking you along the river between Pioneer Tower and the King Street Bridge. Great if you're able-bodied and hiking, but would not recommend for running or biking, as the trail is pretty rough. Lots or large rocks, potholes and uneven terrain. It'd be pretty easy to twist an ankle. I wish the city would make improvements here.

It's a beautiful trail along the Grand River where you get to experience the various views and sounds nature and the dense forest on the riverbank. also ideal for bikers who don't mind biking on a rugged terrain

Another hidden gem in Kitchener.This section is part of the Walter Bean Grand River Trail. You can park your cars at the Kuntz Park/Waterloo Pioneers Memorial Tower parking space. Awesome views this Fall. In one section you can see the Homer Watson Park lookout across the Grand River.The trails are well-maintained although some sections mostly loose rocks.

Grand River Corridor
I often bike there and spend some time along the river bank. You get some noise from the highway nearby, unless you go further along the trail, but then last few times I did, I found the trail to be pretty out of shape. Still very nice though!
