BEWARE OF THE BAIT AND SWITCHWe were quoted 1 truck and 3 movers for 8 hours totaling $2000.00, but as the day went on we were told we needed another truck (PLUS 2 MORE MOVERS) to fit everything as well as to speed up the process as ONE TRUCK WOULD BE UNLOADED AT THE NEW HOUSE AS THE 2ND TRUCK WAS LOADDING AT THE OLD HOUSE, that would save us time and money. We were okay with this, and approved the 2nd truck.But what did happen is that the first truck that was already loaded waited for the 2nd truck to show up and then be loaded. Which was not what we had agreed to or approved.It's only a 15 minute drive from one house to the next, but it took 1 1/2 hours from when they left (keep in mind we were being billed almost $400/hour) for them to show up at the new house.We ended up paying over $4000!!! And what is even worse is that despite 2 trucks and 5 movers we had to make several trips back in our own SUVs, as well as 2 cargo van trips that had to be arranged to move several left behind items (not all pictured), even though there was plenty room in the 2nd truck.A bit of damage occurred during the move as well, we brought up theses concerns right away but was told it is what it is and my follow-up e-mails were ignored.Crew was polite and worked hard while we were at the old house loading, but after the arrangement of an additional truck to save time and the arrival of management" in the 2nd truck (AKA bait and switch) it all went downhill very quickly.Strongly advise not to use or recommend this company.*Your response is disappointing and unprofessional as it does not acknowledge the main issues (trucks not unloading one at a time as we were told would happen and save time as well as money) and no mention of the many items left behind.Instead your approach to customer service is to put all the blame on the customer and take zero ownership for anything.You were dismissive and unresponsive when I e-mailed so I gave up on expecting a decent professional trustworthy resolution to all issues including damage."

We used Mountain Moving on Feb 21, 2023 and have nothing but praise to say about them! We moved from Collingwood into a new build in Alliston. They took great care of all of our belongings plus took extra care at this end, protecting all the new floors and stairs, which was greatly appreciated by us! We would recommend them in a heartbeat!! Mountain Moving completed a very large move for us from one house to another in two towns and storing our furniture for 4 days. The crew were very friendly, professional and quick! I don’t envy the guys that are slugging our stuff around. 2 storey home, garage and basement. Guys were very pleasant and beyond helpful. Didn’t hear a single complaint uttered.

Mountain moving were fantastic to deal with: Professional, organized, prompt, and very careful with everything they moved !!! Can’t say enough good things about them. They even made sure that everything they moved in to our new space was in exact place I wanted it. ( they repositioned my sectional couch so I could get it in exactly the right spot! ) They made the whole process from sending out the quote to completing the move on the big day incredibly easy and stress free ! Mountain Moving and Storage came in 30% cheaper on their quote than other companies, but the quality of service was top notch. From the promptness in returning my initial call to the patience in answering my questions, the booking process was easy. They even changed my moving date to accommodate me. On the day of the move Lucas and Jacob were fantastic! They arrived right on schedule, were very professional, treated my things with care and respect, and the job went quickly and smoothly. I’m very pleased with the excellent service all around from Mountain Moving and Storage. I highly recommend giving them a call. Trust the praise and great reviews, I’m glad I did. Wow…. These folks were amazing! Our crew of three worked non stop all day to get us moved. Their work ethic was incredible. Not a single item was damaged, scratched or broken! Very professional service. Highly recommend for a stress free move.
