The owner Tessa and all the employees are all so friendly and will go above and beyond to help you with whatever questions or concerns you may have. Also some days Tessa will bring her dogs with her to the shop which is always a nice surprise as they're very friendly with people and other dogs if you have one ;)

Amazing dive shop. Awesome owner and relaxed, friendly atmosphere. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful when shopping for gear. We did our PADI Open Water certification with them. They have flexible schedules and the instructors are outstanding. Highly recommended.

My Husband and I just finished our open water certification. We had an amazing time! The staff were wonderful. Terry took us under his wing, and he did an incredible job with us. He was very patient and encouraging, and took great care of us, making sure we were comfortable with every skill. All the staff are skilled, friendly, and lots of fun. Tessa was super accommodating with our crazy work schedule. She also let us trial any equipment that we were looking to buy, which was wonderful to have a chance to make sure it worked for us. The whole business feels like a big family, and it was a great choice for our SCUBA certification.

Never been disappointed walking through these doors! The staff is all so wonderful and helpful. The owner (Tessa) will go above and beyond for all of her customers- definitely the most personable and welcoming scuba and sport shop that I've been in in Winnipeg!

Went there for our first Open Water lessons. Had an amazing time. Staff are incredible- we were shuffled through 4 of the instructors, and they were all knowledgeable, fun, and enthusiastic. We are from outside Winnipeg and they are very accommodating to that in setting up our pool times. I would recommend Underworld to anybody, they do it right.

Love this place!! The owner (Tessa) and staff will bend over backward to help you out, schedule your dives around your own crazy schedule, and bring in gear to test/try, or whatever you need. In the middle of our rescue-diving course, I got a head cold and couldn't clear my ears - so I called to cancel, expecting to pay a fee of some sort. No problem! Husband got sick the next week, and again, no problem! Tessa simply shuffled and re-scheduled us and we were able to finish our rescue certification on alternate days. Also, when I wasn't sure whether I wanted a large or an extra large in the BCD I wanted to order, Tessa brought in a size for me, just to try on! I have made over 30 dives with the equipment I bought from Underworld and it's all top notch. Love this place - and if it's not right, Tessa will make it right for you!

Great staff. Out of the two places in the city that offer certification lessons, this one got back to me with in a couple hours of sending them an email. A year later the other place has never responded to either of my emails.They are the inly place in winnipeg to offer free diving lessons. I highly recommend that course.

Nice and helpful people. Great, experienced and friendly instructors who care about your learning. On the other hand, they are busy and the scheduling is not the best (ex. I waited 2 hours in store for sth that could be done in 20 minutes and things like this have repeated).
