Stitch in Time

Few issues with one of my tweed kilts, took them here as it was supposed to be an easy fix. Returned kilt was half a job, areas missed and what was done became unstitched, hopeless service!!!

awful, appalling service. Gave a jacket to alter its arm length, when got it back its still the same length. No alteration done. Charged 25 pounds for it. When pointed it out, wants another 20 pounds to alter. Never experienced such appalling service in Inverness. Avoid them at any cost. Use Baron Tailoring instead.

Took a kilt in to get taken in and they altered from the middle instead of the side - so now there is a big line down the middle front which looks awful.

Placed my clothes in 3 weeks ago before heading off on my holiday and was told it would take a week. This was no problem! However, I returned to find that only one pair of trousers had been completed, 1 half done and the other pair in pieces on the sewing machine. The woman at this time revealed that she did not know as she had just been brought in to cover. However if told my clothes would be ready for the Saturday they should be ready no matter the time I picked them up. This woman told me to request a partial refund. I returned 2 weeks later after my holiday to pick up my trousers and was met with a man I had not dealt with before. When I asked about receiving a partial refund he just stared at me as if dumbfounded. I was told that I would not receive one and he would not give me one because he couldn’t. and that it wasn’t his fault the clothes had been delayed and that if I had come earlier in the day I would have maybe got a refund with another member of staff as she was the one who took my order. I live in Aviemore - that is 3 journeys I’ve completed for these - and work 5 days a week I cannot work around their staff shift times which are not posted. Overall terrible experience and will not be using again!!!

Extremely good service, very friendly and understanding.From taking up sleaves and altering jackets to patching damage on a leather jacket (so it looks like part of the design) they have been brilliant.I have gone back several times and will continue to do so, as well as recomend them to friends and family.

Needed a zip replaced on my hoodie and took it here to be done. It was done very quickly and at a reasonable price. Very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend their services.

Been here several times and can only praise the high level of alterations to our clothes. None of the negative experiences as mentioned in some reviews.Very friendly employee too !!
