Best bang for buck! He tuned my piano up, gave it a good vacuum , glued a couple stress marks in the wood and, fixed the action on the keys and overall made my piano sound and play properly again! Thanks dr octave. (Meant to post this last year when he tuned myPiano)

I am so glad that I found Mark. I had my piano tuned serveral times by a piano tuner referred by the piano store that I bought the piano from. I then decided to do some Google research on piano tuners one day and found Mark based on good reviews. Yes, Mark is excellent. My previous piano tuner never took the piano apart to clean and vaccum nor did he check every key to make sure it works properly. Mark does it all. Mark does some regulations on the piano as well during his piano tuning service to make sure the piano achieves the best possible sound. He is meticulous and his attention to detail is beyond what you can expect from a piano tuner. Mark even checked with me days later to make sure my piano works properly. My daughter told me that the piano now sound amazing. I highly recommend Mark to anyone who needs piano tuning or piano repairing. Mark is really a Piano Doctor.

I had announced I wanted to get rid of as a piano tuner had told me it was not possible to tune it precisely or repairable. Dr. Octave restored it to being a delight to play. It had a humidifier, a couple keys wouldn’t pop back up, and the strings wouldn’t “hold” the right frequency very precisely or very long, one of the pedals also made noises and one didn’t function properly. It was amazing watching him work his magic. Very cool! Thank you Dr. Octave!

I have had so much fun playing the piano again. Mark did an absolutely amazing job restoring and retuning a 96 year old piano that has been sitting untuned for at least 20 years. His pricing was very fair and he took the time to make sure it was done right! Thank you so much Mark! It means a lot to us that we can play the piano that was brought all the way from Germany so many years ago!

Mark's skill is very professional and beyond. My piano was used to be tuned by a different technician, and it was tuned 2 weeks ago. But it was left with one key making longer sound. It was claimed repair was required and needed a part that was unable to be found, there was nothing he could do. After Google search, we found Mark with Doctor Octave's, and sent emails with pictures. He quickly replied emails and wanted to stop by during his busy schedule. He did come after his busy hours and quickly identified the issue yesterday. After some cleaning and adjustment, the key works properly. He is a doctor of pianos! We recommended him to lots of parents, piano teachers, and more.

Nice work Mark. I would definitely recommend him. He waited for me outside of my house for half an hour because I didn’t realize it was our appointment time already ….. Thank you so much I feel so sorry for that. The most important part was that he took the time to get my piano done properly even tho my piano is pretty new. Mark is very professional, thoughtful and friendly as well. He answered and explained why to all my piano tuning questions, and I learned a lot. He fixed all my trouble strikes and I enjoy the mellow tone of my piano after the tuning. Highly recommended!
