Frankie's Nashville Hot Chicken

If I could give this restaurant zero stars I absolutely would. My coworkers and I ordered here today for the LAST TIME. Each time my boss has ordered from here it has nonstop been issue after issue. Today at first the issue was we did not receive any utensils or sauces which we paid extra for. We called back and the restaurant informed us that we need to ask Uber eats for our money back. To me this is extremely unfair to Uber and the delivery driver as it is not the drivers fault that the staff at the restaurant failed to provide items asked for. We hung up the phone and began to do this. Afterwards we bit into our chicken to find not only a unknown curly hair BUT DISGUSTING RAW CHICKEN. We absolutely will NEVER be returning here. We will make sure everyone we know is aware that we received, raw chicken, hair in our chicken, no sauces (which we paid extra for), no utensils. As well as the restaurant thought it was appropriate to ask Uber for our money back instead of taking ownership for their mistake. See photos below.

Not one to usually do this, however, it has to be done. Ordered Door dash to try this place out. So the cold food was to be expected. First, I didn’t receive the pickled Slaw with the combo. $32 Order. Do Not let the pictures fool you. The fries were old and stale. Not even fries, little fry bits. Almost to the point where they literally didn’t care. Chicken sandwich subpar at best. Bun was soggy, def not toasted. Definitely not made fresh to order. I understand prep, but this was almost like it was done last night or early this morning. Regardless, doesn’t seem to be any standards. Could have been just an employee not caring. I don’t know. But unacceptable for a $32 door dash order for one Sandwich, stale fry bits and no slaw salad or whatever that was supposed to come with it.

Just had it delivered - mmmmmm!Very tasty plump chicken. Crispy curly fries and enormous breaded onion rings.Hot sauce was actually spicy and tasty! Thanks!Now excuse me while I enjoy my food coma.

Honestly, I have ordered from here 30+ times and the inconsistency of the workers is an absolute disgrace. Constant quality issues with the food and consistently missing food items of the last small period of time these issues have arrived. The final straw when I just ordered a double chicken sandwich only to receive 1 sandwich. Honestly if your workers cannot count to 2 than you probably should fire your entire staff or close up shop. You literally had a job to count to 2 and could not even accomplish that. Disgrace.

UPDATE! After I received my food it was clear that they forgot it on the shelf for awhile, my food was cold and my drinks were hot.If you plan to order from Skip the Dishes expect delays from this place, I ordered lunch at 11:57PM... they bumped my order at 12:10 and said they were running late, 1hr 20 mins later my food is finally with the Skip driver and on-route. If they can't cover the order in a somewhat efficient manor then they should reject it so we can go elsewhere.

When I want a spicy hot chicken sandwich, I will go for the hottest offered. Tonight I ordered 2 sandwiches for my wife and I. One mild and one Hot AF. I WANTED SPICY. when the meal arrived the boxes were not identified with which one was hot and mild. NP. She wasn’t saying hers was too hot so I think we got it right. Or did we? Let me first say the food was amazing. I have no issues with the taste and quality of the food. I am happy with my meal. However my wife couldn’t eat all hers so she left me half her sandwich. As I am eating mine I find the heat (hot af) was an average heat and nothing to get excited about. When I was done with my sandwich I continued to finish hers. This is where I found it was exactly the same. No difference. So I’m not sure if we got both as mild or both as hot af. I’m a bit disappointed if they were hot af because I found the heat level very minimal and nothing to get excited about. Franks hot sauce heat if you know what I mean. Not hot at all. I’m guessing they were mild. This is why I rated 3/5. The food and curly fries were amazing and I would enjoy again. Just not fully satisfied with the heat. I’ve had better in that category.

It sure did look and taste like something prepared in the kitchen of a generic chain restaurant. Onion rings and fries were cold (the curly fries looked and tasted like the delivery driver might have picked them up at Arby’s instead of from the side door of Lonestar). The slaw was fine. The sandwich was meh. As someone who’s had actual Nashville Hot Chicken this felt like Dixie Lee’s attempt at it and nothing like the juicy, wonderful hot chicken served at the famed Hattie B’s. This chicken was a series of dry chicken fingers thrown on a bun. I can’t imagine the people who prepared our order have a clue what Nashville Hot Chicken is supposed to be but rather followed a booklet created by someone who has tried it ...and is trying to make a buck franchising a watered down version of it to unsuspecting people that think “Nashville Chicken” sounds cool. Luckily we had a delivery Coupon but we should have moved our lazy butts out to the car and picked up something local rather than this pedestrian offering. Inauthentic, boring, meh. Our mistake. Never again.

This place needs new management or staff.. the experience we had the other night was laughable but extremely frustrating. Ordered online, a fair amount. Pick up order and get home to find out they didn't give us our dips.. we had paid for 4, or our sandwich. Called them and they wanted to give us an extra side or a gift card for an amount they couldn't tell us.. which wouldn't be done until Wednesday. They eventually agreed to make us the entire order again as we had to drive back and the food we had already would've been cold. They confirm 20 mins and it will be ready. Arrived, barely acknowledged in the restaurant. Took close to 45 mins. Get home, thinking there is no way they could mess up again as we went through the order more than once with management on the phone. This time, we had two sandwiches and the wrong dips. We were appreciative for the fresh order but holy cow... This is insane. Spent way to much time and money to feel like it was worth it. Definitely will be avoiding this place and telling others to do the same.

This is the best chicken in Belleville. Seriously, it's so freaking good. The curly fries are great, but the onion rings...OMG, to die for! If you haven't tried it yet, what are you waiting for!?!? (Fyi, It is a bit spicey, but my 8 year old was fine with the ho hum if that helps anyone)

Best chicken in Belleville! Their Frankie Signature dip is soooo good. Love the dill pickle slaw! & curly fries are always delicious! I have nothing bad to say about this restaurant. If you’re craving tasty chicken, go to Frankie.
