LSCC has friendly and caring staff who look after my family member. They always seem genuinely concerned about the well being of everybody who lives within their centre.

Home is not prioritizing Essential Caregivers during this time of limited visits including visiting schedules that were already established prior to opening up visits to other family members. As a result, ECs are being subjected to the same cumbersome on line booking system as in other general visits and crucial visits with residents are being jeopardized due to lack of visits available. EC visits should be taking place over and above other visits. Requirements are different from other visits whereby ECs get Covid Testing prior to visit, rapid testing at the home on day of visit and they wear protective clothing when visiting. These regular EC visits are a lifeline for many residents.The home needs to provide better communication with respect to these visits and reinstate them immediately.

My mother spent ten happy years at LSCC. It is a well-designed and maintained building that is also conveniently located. The management and staff are kind, caring, polite and professional. My sister and I looked at several retirement/care facilities before making our decision. The government application form allowed us up to three choices; we only requested one and it was LSCC. Over the years, we bonded with many of the staff and will miss them all.

Langstaff care community was the perfect choice for my husband. Staff was wonderful and treated my husband with dignity and respect. They were always friendly with me, and I felt at ease, knowing that he was cared for in the best way possible.
