05/08/2022We went to La Favorita yesterday for dinner, and here’s our review:The service was excellent, with employees that are really nice and polite. The food came quick and was delicious! The portions were good (we ordered a small pizza, noodles, lasagna, and more), and everything is very filling. 1-2 kids could eat one adult meal of noodles (so they were very filling). We didn’t order and kids meals, but we shared our meals together. Dessert was delicious! We ordered New York Cheese Cake, Tea, Chocolate and Lemon Tartufo, etc. Excellent thing! Waiter was nice and polite. Hope to come again!04/11/2023We came back to eat at La Favorita, and once again, they have amazed us! We ordered a variety of meals, such as the kids meal butter noodles, lamb (daily special), lobster, and more! One of us were celebrating their birthday, so we brought cupcakes to the restaurant, and they kindly put in onto a nice display. Highly recommend dining here, and can't wait 'till next time!Photos shown are from April 11, 2023

A group of us were in town for a 'Men's Retreat Getaway' and we thoroughly enjoyed Ottawa. We stopped for lunch (and a nice walk) in Little Italy, choosing to go to an old favorite of mine 'La Favorita'. We were the first customers of the day and the place was still sort of setting up, but we were welcomed in, given great seats by the window and taken care of Pablo (Paul). He had a nice sense of humor and just the right level of fun interaction with the group. He was also extremely polite, attentive, and good at his job.We ordered lunch mains - 2 of us had the veal calzone, and the others had spaghetti/meatballs and cannelloni. All of the food was excellent - seemingly made in house and perfectly seasoned. My veal calzone was perfect, and the veal really stood out as a quality cut. We had a few drinks - the place has a couple beers on tap and a good selection of bottles.

We stopped here because we hadn't tried it before. We got a pizza and didn't order anything else so we can only review based on that. The pizza was good but the prosciutto was weird. The ambience was semi formal but they do have outdoor seating. The service was pretty quick but it wasn't very busy either.

The restaurant decoration is elegant and lovely. Our server was truly nice and helpful. He constantly check in with us to see if we need anything and he was very polite as well but we did not get to know his name. The food is absolutely amazing. I personally love the fettuccine carbonara which came with just enough sauce and cream in it not over. Caesar salad and the calamari is fresh. If we ever return to Ottawa, La Favorita will be a place we definitely visit again.

Pizza wasn’t made in wood oven, and far from Italian taste. Excuse which we heard “was during the festival we not using wood oven”, well if I want to lower my standards I could benefit more from frozen pizza in a grocery store. I’m very disappointed. Shame to call it Italy standard. Carbonara and Caesar salad were also low quality.Aperol spritz was good. So go ahead for drinks.Service forgot to give us water, napkins and was hard to ask for it since there was the Italian festival. Restaurant was very dusty and obviously hadn’t been cleaned in months.

The staff and food were amazing.We had garlic bread, calamari, pizza, lasagna, and bacon carbonara. It was the best I've had in a long time. We will be going back.I only recommend a little background music.

Central spot in Little Italy with a nice patio. It gets busy really quick, so I’d get there early or get a reservation. The pizza was good and the servers were sweet!

I love the kindness of the owner, love the food and the prices are reasonable. We ordered two pizzas one with almond and chicken breast and another with lamb. Both was perfect. We ordered the small size wich was more than enough for both of us.

By far the best Italian place to go to! Quiet and cosy setting, service was out of this world great, food was absolutely amazing and very clean well kept place. It was so good I had to let the owner know that whatever he’s doing to keep it up! Even complimented the chef personally! Highly recommend eating here! You haven’t had a meatball until you’ve had one from La Favorita! Spaghetti and meatballs were jaw droppingly good as well as the cheese cannelloni. Can’t say enough good things about this place!! If you haven’t been, you need to go!
