Professional, Great and Dedicated People.I would highly recommend Blacktop Asphalt Paving Ltd.No matter what you do don't get James upset because he would start spilling the asphalt everywhere LOL & mind you that he also would leave the job site without doing it. I would give 5 Stars to this young smart businessman.

They had two different crews. One crew was for tearing up the old asphalt and prepping and the other crew was for paving. Both crews were friendly and personable as well as professional and efficient. Cost wise they were very competitive and are certainly worth considering. Extremely happy with the job that was done!

Just had my driveway done. The prep crew came in and done a great job grading all the guys are hard workers and all did there own part to get the job done. The paving crew came in and it was like poetry in motion. So satisfying. Over all had a very good experience dealing with all the guys, they run a tight ship and it shows. They were in and out and left me with a huge smile on my face. Thanks alot Blacktop

One of their machines broke while they were doing our driveway and leaked oil all over. At first they didn’t do anything. The asphalt was crumbling from the oil. They eventually did come back and try to “fix” it and sealed it, however there is an ugly large strip across our “new” driveway. Overall disappointed. I wish we had gone with another company who charged a little more but took more pride in their work.

Blacktop Asphalt Paving Ltd. recently completed our paving job and we could not be move satisfied with the final result. Their service and communication was top notch from start to finish and the quality of the paving did not disappoint. The crew worked together flawlessly and I can say with confidence this company has great integrity and stand behind their brand! They even travelled over 1.5 hours outside of their home base in HRM. Would highly recommend for all your paving needs.

You can tell this company runs smooth as butter. Teavon came to measure in the spring before the weeds had grown onto the existing gravel driveway. The prep crew came and the weeds had grown so much it would have easily appeared as though the driveway was much less wide than in reality. I was sure I’d have to show them where the line was since Teavon wasn’t there with them. Nope. They had the drawing of the driveway with the measurements and did exactly what I wanted without me having to explain a thing. You could tell they had communicated all my wishes and were very organized. 10/10 would recommend to a friend, they exceeded my expectations.

Blacktop saved us from a nightmare paving job. Gary was friendly, ontime, and very responsive to any questions we had. The prep work was incredible. Finshed product was well above our expectations.Thanks again Blacktop!!!

If I had to do it again, I'd happily rehire this company. They were responsive, friendly, on time and did a phenomenal job on our driveway.I was blown away by how efficient they were.I had gotten quotes from 2 other companies, but what brought me back to Blacktop was the customer service.I would recommend to anyone.Their prices are more competitive than the usual local" company in East Hants and they didn't act like they didn't need our business. my driveway paving is thicker than what the competitors put down

Just recently had my 1400sqft driveway paved by Blacktop and I am a 100% satisfied customer. From the first onsite visit to the final paving job, Blacktop has been quick, courteous, and above all, professional. I spoke to two other commercial paving companies while deciding who to hire, both of which came highly recommended and had many years in the business, and neither came close to the level of professionalism shown by Blacktop. Sloppy quotes, slow response, questionable knowledge, and sadly higher prices.During the initial visit for our price quote, Taevon's professionalism really impressed me. He answered all my questions, went through the whole process in detail including warranty coverage etc, and even gave me the final quote onsite rather than make me wait for days to hear back.Once the crews showed up to prep the gravel base and pave, I knew I had chosen the right company for the job. Large crews with commercial grade equipment, fast and quality work. It was easy to see these guys take pride in their work based on their attention to detail. My new driveway looks amazing, and it's all thanks to Blacktop! Oh, they also service some of East Hants, not just HRM.
