C U Vision Optometrists

Getting my glasses there I was told by an older woman she'd give me the 'best lenses'. With that in mind, the fact that the price was more than what I paid before for the thinnest possible lens (and all the lens addons) and with my prescription its a must have so for hundreds of dollars you'd assume it is included.Fast forward I got my glasses and the lenses are soo thick. 30% thicker than my last pair INCLUDING the plastic frame around my old lenses! I told her this and she said its my eye position, no refund, no redo etc speech. I checked at home later and the eye position and frame size is the same as my old pair and my prescription didnt change much so it should be similar, not double the thickness.Only giving an extra star because I have gone back a couple times and the gentleman there was very helpful in trying to make the glasses work. I have tried to just deal with it or hopefully get used to it but the lenses are so heavy I get headaches constantly from the pressure.

Charged me 45 $ , didn’t examine or diagnose my condition . Never go there

This review is for Ji Youn Kim (Central mall, King George Blvd), who is the optometrist I met. I had to meet her three times before she re-wrote my original prescription (from the glasses I was wearing) and sent me back home. The first time, she gave me the wrong prescription and over-corrected me which gave me chronic headaches. She is highly incompetent and definitely not worth $110 when there is another better optometrist on the same floor charging $80.I have to now see another optometrist and pay out of pocket. Definitely not worth going to this place.

Honest comment from a customer. I had an exam test and contact lens trial a year ago, and they are all kind and friendly to me. They taught me to wear the lens carefully. It took me a month to try the lens because I don't have much time to go to the store, but every time I came by, there was no feeling of discomfort or bother.

They charged me $50 for a refund while the pre-deposit was made 5 min ago. I selected one pair of glass and gave my prescription. They said it will be ready in 2 weeks. I said okay and asked to pay in FULL first. I paid $400. Later, after payment, when they gave me dummy glasses to test my prescription, it was not correct. I had my prescription from different shop which was far. So I asked for a refund right away and told them that I needed to see eyes doctor again because my prescription is wrong. There tone changed and told me in a rude way that our sales are non- refundable. I said but I did not even buy anything yet. It was just 5 min ago. They said it is our Policy. I requested again then she said okay but You have to pay $50. I said I don't want to pay $50. She said Okay then I will not refund anything you can do whatever you want." I got helpless and said okay please give me back my $350 then. She gave it. When I received receipt

I came in with a pair of glasses that I purchased in South africa, that didn't quite feel right. After talking to them for about 30 minutes, and receiving their undivided attention,I went ahead and purchased new lenses from them that will correctly calibrated to my eyes and had anti-glare. After about half an hour my glasses were ready and it made all the difference. Very nice staff and great service. Would definitely recommend

I went here with my son to look at EnChroma Color Blindness Glasses. The optometrist was very knowledgeable and friendly. He very honestly set expectations and let us test the glasses for an hour to see if they work for my son. They didn't end up being a good fit and we didn't buy anything there. Still a great experience!

I had a wonderful experience getting an eye examination at CU Vision, Surrey Central location. The store is clean and offers nice glasses. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, and will help you process your insurance claims on your behalf.Special thanks to Dr. Kyleon Ho for his professionalism and kindness towards his clients; he provided a thorough explanation of my prescription and the adjustments he recommended. Dr. Ho is also mindful of his clients' wallets and he does not pressure them into buying glasses, or doing any other unnecessary exams at an extra charge. Thank you for recommending me to proceed with the glaucoma test that is covered under MSP and, explaining to me what the test results meant with details. My family and I will definitely keep going back!

It's the first time I experience such a poor service, it's not friendly to children, it's a scam
