This place has been around forever! Want to know why? Because the food, the staff and service are consistently good. Been going here for twenty years. My husband used to have weekly family dinners here as a young man and did bartending too.Daughter and I had a lovely chicken Thai stir fry dinner and my MIL had a club house with enough fries for the table to share … and she took half her sandwich home! Can’t remember what the man ordered but didn’t hear a peep outta him so that’s good in my books!The restaurant is cosy. Food was prompt. The staff was super friendly and welcoming from the second the door opened. If someone called out “Nooooorm” I would have laughed, raised my hand “present” and sauntered to a table like I owned it ..

Waltzing Weasel Pub - Oshawa
I went there to participate in the Wednesday night Trivia Quiz. It's always lots of fun & the quiz is open to everyone. (All you have to do is show up...by yourself or with a team.) Prizes are awarded at end of the quiz. The food was good & was reasonably priced. Our server was friendly & looked after us well. Based on my experience here I would recommend the Waltzing Weasel Pub for food, drinks, & fun.

Overall great experience. The staff were very friendly, polite, and attentive. The atmosphere was nice, and there was decent spacing with the tables. You can sit at the bar, in a booth, or at a table.The food was delicious. I had the French Onion soup to start. The cheese was really good, but the broth was a bit on the lighter side. Still very delicious. I had the chicken parmesian dinner, which was well portioned, and tasty. My friend had the mushroom penne, which was also well portioned, and very flavourful. I preferred that over my chicken parmesian. Her meal also came with a Greek salad, which was a decent size, fresh, and very good.There happened to be a trivia night (Wednesday nights at 8pm) while we were there. It was fun, well put together, and drew in a decent crowd of people to play.

I have some worthy advice. I've not once had a proper pint of draft Canadian in your establishment. I encourage you to research the plethora of reasons why. Pop on over to The Crooked Uncle,order a draft Canadian. Taste and smell the difference comparatively to yours. Last eve,as usual, yours was flat,lacked carbonation and smelled awful.

We had a birthday party at the Waltzing Weasel and it was fantastic. From my initial call to the day of the party they were very accommodating. The service and food was great. Tommy was great making all arrangements and Amanda took good care of our large group (50+ people). Good work team!!

Waltzing Weasel Pub - Oshawa
Classic United Kingdom style Pub & Restaurant. The menu features hard to find items like Steak & Kidney Pie & Chips. I ordered Fish & Chips as did my partner and our guests had a Lobster PoBoy Sandwich and a Clubhouse Sandwich. All Washed down with a pint of Harp Lager. Great food and service. We will return.

Stopped in here for lunch. The service was fine but I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich and the chicken was so over cooked the breading was almost black and the chicken was so overdone and chewy. Fries where only good part. Yes there was abit of sauce on the chicken as you can see in the picture but the sauce wasn't over all of it just abit on one side so no it's not a sauce making the breading look that dark.

Donna was our server and she made us feel beyond comfortable and happy! When we asked for a surprise drink she made us DELICIOUS COCKTAILS and they were delicious! We have decided to call them Jolly Ranchers! Thanks Donna ❤️

Waltzing Weasel Pub - Oshawa
I came in here with my family and had such a wonderful experience. Our server was delightful and very friendly. I forget her name but she's super tall and took our order with out writing it down, made sure our drinks were refilled and that our food was ok. The food was amazing and I highly recommend coming here anytime.
