JB Nails Spa

I've never complained or walked out of a nail appointment in my life until now at JB Nails Spas. It's important to give honest feedback and the woman did a really bad job, I'm super disappointed with the service. Also she waxed my eyebrows and barely touched them I had to ask repeatedly to shape them and there was no mirror so she did it in the chair while I was preparing for my pedicure and I was ready to pluck them myself.The whole place felt dirty, and unprofessional. I paid but I really shouldn't have and walked out with no pedicure because I was so upset by the whole situation.

My nails were awful I hate to say. The person didn’t push my cuticles back. I had to go back in twice after inspecting them because they were streaky And they still came out bad. Some nails are off set and the paint didn’t cover the whole nail. Super expensive for the quality and experience.

Where do I start. I have been getting my nails done for 25 years. Yesterday I thought I would try a new business that was closer to home. Based on the reviews I thought JB Nails was the place. I called, the owner was very accommodating to get me in earlier then they open to work with my tight schedule. That’s where the one star comes from, after that it all went down hill. There is only one tech that can do acrylic, the owner. I have never seen acrylic applied the way she did. Not only did she not apply it to the whole nail but she left enough space near the cuticle and sides that my nail showed- it looked sloppy and uneven. I asked her to fix them and she said oh yeah I’m not done. Me being confused she started to apply the gel polish. Black Matte with a crystal flower. Glue is dripping, polish all over my skin and missing in some places. /she applied the Matte over the crystal ruining it. My 9 year old can do better. Then she says okay you done sit over there for your toe polish. As I sat waiting for my toes to be done, I couldn’t help but be unhappy with my nails. There was lady who was getting a pedicure next to me, then the owner says you have leg wax we do it here. So between me and another man, this poor lady had to get her legs waxed in-front of us. A moment where you should have some privacy, a clean room with the proper before and aftercare. The owner wanted to do it there because of the lighting from the window not because of the massage chair. After she trimmed the man’s toes she starts slapping on baby powder on the ladies legs for wax prep? No washing of hands between clients just a full on leg wax in front of us. After my toes were done I pulled the owner aside quietly and showed her my nails and said I was not happy. She said, I fix and made a scene. I sat down and she filed then I ended up asking for the file and doing it myself. It was awful and embarrassing, I should not have to show a nail tech how to do nails. There was a couple ladies waiting that had to hear it all. It was not the experience I was looking for. The only morning I had off to treat myself and now I’m stuck with these awful nails. She did offer to take them off in a aggressive way, but after three hours in her salon I was done I had to get to work I couldn’t deal with her. She said it will be $120 plus tax! I pulled her aside and told her I didn’t feel comfortable paying for these services but at the end she was paid in Cash, despite her comment below. Everything about this place is wrong. I would have to say that she does not know what she’s doing. Go somewhere else! I had to do the walk of shame to my nail girl to have these removed and a new set put on. It took a hour to get them off not to Mention the costs associated with a entire new set. I didn’t want to write a review but I after speaking with friends who are in the industry they highly recommended me to. I would hate for this to happen to anyone else. Time and money are precious and I am Beyond shocked that she has any positive reviews on here. I do NOT recommend going here. I am embarrassed to even show my video lol. (I have some scratches on my skin do to gardening with no gloves the day prior.)

I don’t think I’ll be going to JB snails anymore. It’s a shame, because the owner has been really nice to me. The gel is not applied evenly to my nails— some places it’s very thin and flat, and others it’s very thick. The edges of my nails are pretty sloppy/rough too. I always have to spend some time cleaning the edges up. :-(

Excellent customer service! It’s hard to find good nail technicians and at JB Nails Spa the Nail technicians was very skilled! I was extremely happy with the end result after trying other salons in town and will definitely be going back to JB Nails Spa.

I'm so un impressed with whomever did my girlfriends nails. My friend is going on a trip so her husband treated her to a professional manicire and pedicure. First off she has her own beautiful long nails that I have been French manicuring for the past two months. I'm not a professional but it sure doesn't take one to know there was no need to strip her nail down to nothing bu nubs and do acrylic when it was not necessary. Not only this but the job you did looks like it was done by a 5 year old, from shape to the polish application it hey look so bad. I would be so ashamed and would not let a client leave without fixing all that.

Had a pedicure, I was very impressed with the attention to detail! I will definitely go back again.

I went with my girlfriend and we had an amazing time . My nails look so pretty and they invested a good amount of time in pedicure .
