Planted one whole bag of Scotts thick & quick grass seed. Carefully raked into rich new soil and watered often. Not one damn blade of grass grew!! Obviously seed is expired or dead. Waste of $40. Can't get them online to get a replacement. I've grown new grass many times in my 62 years and I know what I'm doing. So much for Guaranteed "!!"

Attempting to get assistance regarding grass seed that will not germinate was met with people who could not answer my questions and people who went away for information and the hung up on me. I tried to get reconnected for assistance and repeatedly was met with a busy signal. After 45 minutes I finally gave up and will return the product to Costco Saint Catharines Ontario wher I bought the product. The product is Scott's Turf Builder Water Smart grass seed. There are six patches in my lawn that I dug up and put new soil in place of the old soil and mixed grass seed into the soil. I have seen all of two new blades of grass in 8 weeks. No help from Scotts.

I agree !I spent $120.00 on two concentrated weed b gon and I swear it never killed 1 weed . In fact they seem to be flourishing

March 2018 I purchased from Costco Sudbury, Ontario location a 4 kg bag of Scotts Grass Seed Supreme. I was using the seed to over seed some areas of our lawn and to fill in blank areas. I also used bagged top soil in most places to give more good soil for the seed. Needless to say, none of the seed germinated. Frequent watering did not help. I did send a letter to Scotts Canada in July advising of the problem, no response from them. I sent a second letter in August, again no response. The bag has a no questions asked money back guarantee posted on it, obviously they lie and do not stand behind their product. Obviously they don't know what Customer Service represents. Extremely disappointed.

Spent 1.5 hours on the phone with them. Couldn't answer my questions regarding grub b gone. Said q supervisor would call back, never got a call back.2 stars because the lady tried her very best with me! What company creates a product and doesn't make the information more accessible to their employees?

I guess time does not change things as I have the exact same problem as Tom stated from two years ago!! Trying to patch small areas of my lawn with EZ seed. Not one single seed germinated, NOT ONE. And then to top it off, trying to get some help from Scotts Canada ... all they do is refer you to the Scotts Help Line which is mysteriously busy for hours on end. Thanks for nothing. Last time I use your product.

In May I purchased a cherry tomato plant. I had a planter with soil from last year, added some miracle grow fertilizer, new black soil, and my plant. I then made the mistake of topping the planter with miracle grow soil mix. I now have a cherry tomato plant that is 6 feet tall, with many branches, and still producing blossoms and tomatoes. Perhaps there should be a warning on your products - buyer beware!

Very very bad product,i have buying and using slug b gone eco at Ortho,i write to the compagny he give me USA adress to post my invoice, I am from Canada and otherwise I would have to pay a fee for the letter (with the invoice in it) even though they have a branch in Canada.....And this product not good when big Rain,have to put some 2 days afters,and moisissures where i have putting.

Same problem with coated Turf Builder Grass seed -must be coated with plastic so it NEVER germinates! Regular grass always worked for me!!! No one answers at reception...

I used Scotts Premium Garden soil in my rock garden as I was adding quite a few new plants this year and wanted a good soil mixture to support healthy plant roots. BEWARE! The soil contained grass seed and it completely overtook my garden. It took me three days to dig all the grass out and I ended up losing quite a few of my new plants. Very disappointed as I thought Scotts was a name that I could trust. I purchased 25 bags of the soil at a Home Depot in Barrhaven, Ontario, June 2018.
