Just avoid HSBC in montreal, only 4 locations with ridiculous opening hours, always a hassle whether it's on the phone or in person

The worst bank ever.The worst management (An african-Canadian guy - never introduced himself but I heard from one employee his name was Eric Parker- who almost attacked me because I opened my business account in Toronto and they do not want to provide service to that country - as he phrased ontario as another country).All HSBC are out of clients, and this has to do with untrained staff and disrespectful management towards the clients. based on my experience your money is NOT yours when you keep it in such as this branch and bank. I am going to close my business account and switch to Royal bank in a jiffy.

Great improvement from the last time I went there, the staff is now very accommodating and helpful. Also, the service is quite fast which I absolutely love. It was a right in right out situation.The team is incredibly kind and resourceful. They are good at providing very good and fast service and it truly stands out.

Very helpful staff and great service. I met with the manager too and she was extremely helpful with my problem.

Impossible to reach anyone. An agent told me to call them if I had any issue, and gave me the head office number. I called that number, after 30 min wait, I left them a message, which they will transfer to the branch, and maybe they will call me back at some point.Service in the branch itself is also extremely slow.

An outstanding service. Quick and efficient. The agent spared no efforts to help me with my issue.

Huge building, almost empty of employees. Have to make an appointment to ask a question.Good bye. The rate offered was good, but don't want the hassle of waiting one week for an appointment.

I have never been to a bank that has a bad customer service like that.

I recently found an unauthorized ATM withdrawal from a USA location while I was traveling in Brazil. I immediately called customer service who canceled my debit card and took my local number so the branch could contact me. Nothing. 7 days later, I went to the branch to obtain an update. They did not have anything on my file. A manager was nearby and he was asked about my case: “oh yeah, so and so was supposed to follow up”. Then I was told they were going to inform the fraud department. Bottom line: they had done nothing in 7 days!!I was abroad with no way of taking out cash and they did nothing.
