Love love love their takowasa!Amazing selection, friendly staff, tasty foods.Got their omakase for 2 ($100) and it was worth it! Fresh fish, beautiful presentation. We also got some sake on the side and it paired beautifully.

Service was so slow, took a total of 50 minutes to get all of our food. I think having one chef man the kitchen was a very bad idea for a Saturday evening. The table next to us was starting to complain because they lost their patience.Food was also very average (sushi was semi-fresh), nothing outstanding that I would come back for. Our drinks barely had any alcohol in it, more ice than anything.

I was here just after lunch and it was quiet. They immediately sat me down and when I asked for the washroom they showed it to me. When I got back my table was all set with water the menue and a new set of chopsticks. After about 5 minutes of perusing through the menu I flagged the servers attention who then immediately came and took my order. I ordered a whiskey sour, beef tataki and lobster maki roll. All are tasty and just hit the right spot.

I'd give them 3.5 stars if I could. The service is amazing, the atmosphere is really great (relaxing, jazz music, perfect lighting etc.) The food is neither great nor bad. The sashimi plate was fresh and delicious. Black Miso Cod wasn't as great as I had hoped but still very enjoyable. The tempura was too greasy and the sauce was more salty than delicate as it should be. However, the price was too high for the deliciousness and portion. At this price I expect either a good portion OR more yummy food.

The food is absolutely delicious. It can b a bit expensive, but you truly pay for the quality of the fish. The go-to place to eat sashimi and nigri the Japanese style

its really not good. fish on kaisen don is not fresh at all, and they just use plain rice instead of sushi rice, other dish is just ok, not terrible but not good either. definetly overpriced, one small marinated crab cost 17$, and that small piece of cod is 18. would not recommand to anyone

Amazing food very fresh fish. Agreed with some people saying the table is sticky and washroom was not cleaned garbage was loaded with paper towels

Amazing omakase for the price. They were able to fulfill everything I wanted including special hida beef, otoro, fresh uni and rare fishes from Japan. The presentation is phenomenal and you can tell they put a lot of heart behind preparing their food.

My partner and I came all the way from Toronto for their Marinated Raw Crab. To be honest, the food tasted great… but we experienced food poisoning for 3 days…. We had severe stomachache, fever, vomit, and diarrhea. We had to cancel all our plans and we spent Christmas at our hotel suffering…. I’m still in a lot of pain as I’m writing this review down…I’ll never go back again…..
