Danny Dear Service Centre

I've been using Danny Dear for the last 7 years and there is no other garage I trust more than them. Great pricing, thorough work, and most of all honest. I've been to several mechanics across the city the last decade but no one holds a candle to the team here. Highly recommended.

My family has been a customer of Danny Dear for at least 18 years. I have nothing but praise for this garage. They have been excellent. I never had a doubt about bringing my car there for repairs. 100% satisfied.

First time bringing my truck in after being referred by a friend. I had a great experience. They did not try to sell me anything I did not need and actively tried to help reduce my repair costs. They also showed me the broken parts and explained what happened and why the repairs were necessary. Transparent and reasonable prices.

Awesome place! Got me in quick, did a total brake job in a little over 2 hours. I was quoted $1400-1500+ tax elsewhere and came to them for a second opinion and I'm glad I did. They saved me a few hundred bucks because I don't need 'designer' brake pads. They even gave me premium pads for the price of the cheaper ones because they ran out of the cheap standard ones. Highly recommend! Really good, decent, honest and practical-minded mechanics are hard to find.

No words how to describe the promtness of amazing service and kindness....and most paramount, HONESTY. Total miracle finding them. Heard a loud noise, thought it was muffler. Next thing heard dragging on ground. Desperate. No CAA. Never needed. Had a reliable 2009 Suzuki. Always kept in top shape. Did not think possible to reach my regular garage downtown. Pulled in lot and by kindness of those who knew how great Danny Dear discovered so VERY close...I was...reached them...how kind they were...how capable....was major...not a muffler...and instead of getting a very expensive solution....with meticulous igeniuty they repaired it to last a long time...for a fraction of cost....71 years old...and their sympathy to be so helpful...is outstanding...

Very impressed with the quality of work and friendly service. Danny and his staff always ensure that you only pay for what's needed. They also give you an idea as to what maintenance and repairs are upcoming so that you can plan ahead. This is what should be expected of a good mechanic. I definitely recommend using this shop.

After trying a few auto repair shops in the area, we found Danny Dear and this place is great. Professional, honest and friendly. Usually they can get you in that day. Hopefully Danny has a couple more years before he retires or sells the business to one of his staff to keep up the same quality customer service.

I had some bad experiences with Meyer's Nissan and wanted to find an honest mechanic with reasonable prices, but more importantly, tells you only what services you need. Danny Dear's Service met my expectations. They were very kind, told me exactly what I needed and even informed me of something in my car that needs work but isn't vital and told me I could come back for it later and it wasn't urgent. If they wanted to just maximize profits they would pressure me to get as much done as possible, but instead they are honest and kind and seem to care.The service was done fairly recently however, and I'm just hoping the service lasts and if it doesn't they will help me take care of it with milking more out of me (like the dealership did)!From my experience thus far I would 100% recommend this mechanic!Thanks Danny Dear!

I came here randomly because I needed a new car battery and needed it replaced same day, Napa (next door) suggested I try here and was served by two very nice and friendly staff who took in my car right away and did the switch, I think I was in and out within 45 minutes! They were upfront about all costs and services, and they answered all my questions.I will definitely keep this shop in mind for future repairs and absolutely recommend them. While I waited I saw they also sell small engine vehicles and tools.
