This is a small space and is takeout only.They have a pretty good variety of different rolls they offer and their rolls are a lot bigger than I expected! Wait is pretty reasonable (20 mins for two rolls), and they provide a side of miso soup with each roll.Prices are reasonable as well. I’ve definitely had cheaper rolls for similar quality, but this is good considering it is located downtown.You also get a 10% discount if you pay cash!

Small hole in the wall takeout place with excellent sushi rolls. Love the rice to filling ratio of the maki! You can tell by the photos they don’t skimp on the ingredients.Definitely one of the top options for sushi in this price range.Call ahead for your order so they can give you an estimate on when to pick up.

Small Hidden GemAmazing quality and wonderful staff! The food portions are very generous and the quality of the fish is great. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I usually order their individual rolls depending on what I feel for the day but yesterday I ordered their platter to share with some guests that I had over and they echoed my praises so I had to leave this review. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed here.

A hidden gem south of the TIFF Bell Lightbox. For the portion and quality of the food, it was worth the trip!They take orders via phone and UberEats. We ordered the Sashimi & Sushi & Roll Platter for the same day and they were able to accommodate us as it's usually ordered a day ahead! Their edamame is standard as well. Very delicious rolls and generous portion sizes. You can see the attention the chef gave to our platter as well as it was well presented.The staff was very friendly on the phone when we called for the order. They were very efficient in packing up and payment was seamless. Probably a miss-day, but we picked up on a hot day and there was no AC here. It's a pickup location so it didn't matter as much.

The sushi here tastes amazing and has generous portions of fish and premium ingredients. Price is fair but they don't always have ready to go options and takes about 20 mins to prepare so order ahead if you're In a hurry. Presentation could be better the sushi isn't very nicely prepared but tastes excellent.

I was sooo looking forward to try out this place since it has so many good reviews! But to me it was not wow. Special makis were too big! there’s nothing more disappointing when eating at a sushi place that a bite that’s too uncomfortable to eat. It’s an only-take-out place but that’s fine because prices make up for that. Food was very tasty, gyosas were too doughy for my taste (I wish they had more filling) overall it was ok but nothing too special.Occasion: want a fresh option for doing a picnic on a sunny day

Fantastic food. My wife and I just ordered 2 unagi rolls, a California roll a salmon roll, 2 black dynamite rolls and red dynamite roll and ALL are fantastic. They're huge rolls with lots of ingredients. And they threw in 2 miso soups for free! Thanks!

Star Sushi holds a special place in my heart as my go-to spot in Toronto for sushi. While it would be fantastic if they offered dine-in service, their popularity means they currently only offer takeout. It's worth noting that due to their high demand, planning ahead is crucial for bigger orders. My personal favorite order consists of the orange dynamite roll and their delectable spring rolls. Be prepared to embrace the generous portions (the rolls are huge)

Really disappointed! Got dynamite and spicy salmon rolls. The rolls were wet/soggy and not rolled well. Not sure how this place has such good reviews :)
