Incident Written on (2020 07 31)My wife and I just got off of the phone with Derek Young of Young Carpets.com" to follow up on the carpet tile orders for the ANUVO Education Support Center. Derek Young was immediately impatient

Installation was scheduled quickly and installer (Scott) was friendly and knowledgeable, follow up was quick and friendly. Overall great experience.

I was lied to and cheated. I trusted the sales rep to recommend and install an appropriate product. I thought I was getting a commercial grade Armstrong product, but they did a bait & switch. I've been trying to get some form of resolution for YEARS.The photos show holes in the product, the coating wearing off completely in spots, and pops in the seams. Problems from day one. Not only was it the wrong product for the job, I'm now told it should have been a floating floor and only installed after the other furniture and fixtures were set in place. (Whereas Young Carpets INSISTED that they get in to do the installation before the bar and partitions were installed, so they would have less cuts to make.) They didn't even FINISH the job... I've been waiting for them to install the transition strip from the dining room to the kitchen for 3 years. Just the absolute worst experience when it came to trying to follow up on this. Multiple trips to the store. Multiple phone calls. Multiple emails. Such terrible follow up customer service. I understand that people and companies sometimes take risks or make mistakes... but own up to your mistakes and fix the problem!
