Morris Island Conservation Area
Great place to go for a hike. Nice trails that are easy to moderate. Nice views of the Ottawa River and lots of nature, like, geese, ducks, other birds, plus the occasional River Otter or turtle.Parking is now $6 but that does help maintain the facilities. There is a washroom near the parking lot and a couple of outhouses along the main causeway trial.

Morris Island Conservation Area
Great place to go for a hike. If you loop all the trails together you can get close to 7km of hiking in. It's usually pretty quiet and not overcrowded. Lots of people bring their dogs to walk here, which is awesome.There are multiple good views and quiet areas to sit and relax.

Great place to go for a walk/hike - popular for dog owners. I do not recommend the rail-trail for cycling, it's very coarse loose stone, meant to be packed with snow and traversed by snowmobile...

Nice place to take a hike and enjoy the water. The parking fee was 6$ and is kinda small so you might not find a spot on a busy day. All trails have signs and orientation mark so its easy to navigate. They even have a mark for the lookout and bench to enjoy the view. Overall worth the drive to have a nice calm walk

Beautiful views everywhere! The water was calm and the weather was perfect. We didn't understand the trails until we finished so we'll have to do it again properly. Even without a proper route we were following, it was still a wonderful place to see. Parking was 6 dollars for 4 hours.

Beautiful peaceful spot at any time of year. Trails are well maintained and have a variety of difficulty levels.

What a gorgeous place to spend some summer days with a family and friends. Great trails, that lead you to a river where you can take a break and enjoy a beautiful scenery. Dogs are allowed. I saw some people bringing their paddle boats. We tried to fish with no success. Park has picnic tables near parking lot, where we had a lively lunch with a beautiful view. I can’t wait to go back in fall to see it all in different colors.

Beautiful place to visit , 40 min away from Ottawa. Small parking there is a bathroom some nice trails . Not much to do other than that, there is nothing near . You can canoe and do water sports fish .
