the owner is very knowledgeable, he might look like a grumpy old man, but he is very nice, he patiently walked me through the entire process of how to finish the bathroom myself first time, I obtained more knowledge of building a bathroom just by talking to him for 30 minutes than watching hours of Youtube videos. I ordered a kerdi shower pan with linear drain and a 5' curb, came in within a week, meanwhile Lowe's and HD are having shortage of all the kerdi stuff and can't even give me an estimated date when they will receive more. This will probably be THE place I go for bathroom reno from now on. Highly recommend.

We had A & E Tile do tile in three of our bathrooms. The process was great from start to finish. We are very happy with the look of our bathroom tile. Installation was done quickly and professionally. i would highly recommend them if you need something tiled in your home. They did a great job.

My husband & I would recommend using A & E Tile and Stone in Belleville for all their tiling and stone needs. Right from being in the store front with Tina and Sue and helping us to get our selection of tiling and grout, then Elvis (we loved his wonderful sense of humour which he and his staff share) coming to do a final estimate and then John and Damiano (hope that is the right spelling) coming to install our under the counter back splash everything was professional, economical and done to high standards. Our next job we would definitely ask them to do it.

Great store to buy tile and tile accessories in the area. Staff were friendly and great to deal with.Price was very competitive and comparable in fact saved money comapred to my first quote!Order was in less than 1 week later.When came pickup was loaded straight into back of pick up truck with forklift not even there for 5 minutes definitely recommend this place!

Great sales rep and very pleased with the tiles we chose.

Prices are higher than the big box stores and I knew going in, as I wanted tile the big chains don't offer. The store's inventory is small and they must order in almost everything - fair enough. After loading my order in the car, I read the Return Policy on the sales receipt. The owner reassured me unopened boxes or materials could be returned within a reasonable timeframe - fair enough.Anyhow, 17 days later, I wanted to return one unopened box of tiles (~$150 value) as minimizing waste is my specialty. However, the sales clerk (probably Tina) stated it would be subject to a 25% restocking fee. Hence, I'll keep the tiles. Needless to say, A&E needs to clearly state, in plain view to all paying customers their Return Policy before finalizing the transaction.Elvis mentioned several times his 30+ years in the tile business - this is great. But to make returns so difficult and undigestable makes one want to run from the store. I cannot endorse this store policy and will be forced to promote the big chains as their no-fuss" returns are why they are so popular in this day and age when money is tight. A&E on the otherhand
