Charm's Jerk Hut

My husband and myself got jerk chicken. The potion size is quite good. The food unfortunately was not. There was no flavor at all and the chicken was extremely dry. I can see a breast being dry but not a leg and thigh.The plantains were to firm as well. I have also never had a jerk meal with out a side of slaw included. I My husband ate his but put 1/2 a jar of jerk sauce over it. I did not. What a shame.

This was my second time trying Jamaican food and between the food and the employees I am sold! The portions are huge, and days later thinking about their food I am drooling. Definitely will eat here again.

Yea, 5 STARS! Absolutely the best Curry Goat (Jamaican style), I've had since touring Jamaica a few years back. And to qualify this, I've been to many Jamaican restaurants from Vancouver, to Ottawa, to Toronto (east and west), To Hamilton and in-between. The perfect combination of curry, heat, tenderness and overall flavor. BRAVO! The portion (we got the large) could feed two regular (I'm greedy) people. TIP... opt for the white rice and not the rice n peas for this dish.While I got to the Jerk Chicken (large) when it was already cold (at the hotel), it did impress as well. This one you need that rice and peas and ask for the oxtail gravy and coleslaw. Again the large order is huge (2 pieces of leg/thigh) and can feed 2 people easily.Wish they had the oxtail for us to try, but unfortunately they were sold out at the moment and while I did want an order of Festivals, there wasn't any as well (didn't say if it was sold out or they just didn't make any this day).I won't comment on service (wasn't bad, just wasn't existent) as I've accepted the fact that you don't go to Caribbean restaurants for a warm smile and polite welcome.Great Curry Goat, huge portions and a full (satisfied) belly! Loveddd eating here. The lunch special is ridiculously cheap for the portion they provide! And theres options! I tried the curry chicken and the jerk chicken and wow both were so so delicious. Everyone working there was so nice and it was nice getting a break from the heat outsideAlso the spicy levels are PERFECT. Not too much, not too little

Food was fresh and hot. The rice was nice and soft and the oxtail was juicy and flavorful. The only issue I ran into was the young lady taking my order, she's was very cut throat and dry, also everything I asked for was all out of stock. That is why I settled for the oxtail but it didn't disappoint. If it wasn't for the attitude I'd give this place 5* even though their selection of food was slim to none.

food actually taste like 5 year old cooked it. rice taste burn oxtail about 5 bones with no meat no gravy, and really nasty customer by the owner. there are 2 younger girls they nice. reason for me complaining this not the first time I've been there but this will be my last. why I keept coming back was try to support, but it's a waste of my money. learn to cook with love

Little gem just up from the touristy traps at Niagara. So thankful to have stumbled upon this place as we visited the falls. Great flavour and authentic Jamaican cuisine & great value! Try something new and you won't be disappointed!

I felt like I was not supposed to be in the store , they were very unwelcoming. When I place order the young girl at the counter said “ is that it “ . Food is good but not good enough to spend my money there. I will never step foot on this place again. I run an air bnb and send clients there all the time but I won’t support this place anymore. Sad because the original owner who had started in like a hot dog stand went to the full store and now has kids running it. Very sad .
