If you are trying to decide if you want to hire Parfait Productions, DO IT! Ixchel and Justin are a one of a kind duo. They went above and beyond my expectations. After having to reschedule my wedding multiple times, I was stuck with no videographer less than two months before the big day. I reached out to Parfait and they immediately contacted me letting me know they would love to work with us! They scheduled a zoom call with us where we went over everything about our wedding day. I truly felt like they wanted to get to know my husband and I. Because of this, they were able to create our perfect video. I knew in the first 5 minutes of talking to them that we made a great choice. I believe this is more than a job for them, they truly wanted to make our day special and capture it in the best way possible. I cannot describe how perfectly they captured our day. Our video is absolutely stunning and I am so glad that we chose them. They sent everything in a timely manor and I was never confused or lost during the process. They are also the sweetest people you will meet which definitely helps with the good vibes on the wedding day. Parfait has given me and my family a video that we will always be grateful for, I have already watched it a million times and I know I will continue to hold this close to me forever! Parfait Productions captured our elopement, so as you can imagine choosing the right cinematographers was super important to us as we wanted high quality product so our friends and family felt like they were there with us. Ix & Justin gave us exactly that and more! They absolutely nailed the brief and when showing our friends and family I don’t think there was a dry eye in the room! The quality of the video was insane and unlike anything we could have even imagined. A real gift for us to share with our loved ones and have for the rest of our lives.From start to finish they were so personable and professional and the best hype squad the day of. We really don’t have the words to say how appreciative we are. It was truly a pleasure to have them be a part of our big day and we highly highly recommend!

We had an intimate wedding In Ucluelet, BC which we planned from home in Ontario. Justin & Ixchel made the process of planning from afar so easy and they were so amazing & kind on our big day. They went WAY above & beyond, even staying out late to film a time lapse of the starry night sky which was a huge surprise to us (WOW!). Our wedding film is incredibly gorgeous and truly represents the spirit of what that day means to us. The moments Justin & Ixchel captured were so beautiful and they were seamlessly choreographed together to create a stunning, heart warming film that we will treasure for the rest of our lives.

Ixchel & Justin are the absolute best!! View any of their work and you can see that the quality, creativity and skill speaks for itself, BUT what you can't see is the genuine energy and passion that they bring to your special day! My wife and I were suppose to be married in 2020 (classic) and postponed to 2021. If there was one good thing that came out of the postponement, it would have to be Parfait. We hired them in the winter of 2021 and what they brought was more than just an amazing memory for us. They brought a genuine excitement to our planning process that was sorely missed during a period of unknown.Should you hire them for you wedding video? Absolutely.But if you don't at least hire them as your hype team!

We were fortunate to have Ix and Justin as cinematographers for our Banff wedding in March. I have always loved watching wedding videos, but I have never seen anything as beautiful as what Parfait Productions is able to create. Their videos are truly art, so much more than simply capturing the day on video. Ix and Justin took the time to talk to us, get to know us, how we hoped to see our day, and the things most important to us. They were able to wrap our perfect day into a perfect video and we could not have asked for anything better. Parfait Productions was the cinematographer for our private vow ceremony & wedding/reception - it was one of the easiest planning decisions we made. We are so so so happy with our premier video collection from Parfait. Each video has this cinematic, need to be played on a big screen kind of feel. More importantly, Justin & Ixchel perfectly captured our love story and the sentiment of our wedding! Our guests who have seen the collection have all felt that the videos transport them back to the wedding, capturing all of the details and the emotions. After our booking, we decided to have a private vow ceremony. When I reached out to Justin & Ixchel, they were not only on board, but also provided support on planning. Before the wedding, they had questionnaires for us to fill out, asking us to reflect on the most important aspects of our upcoming day. We know how much they valued this information - it’s reflected in our video content. They captured what was important to us and what reflected the events. I love that they took the time to learn and understand East Indian traditions and customs as well.One of the best parts of our wedding was having them with us, bringing all of the positive vibes. Justin & Ixchel focused on capturing the moments as they unfolded, instead of orchestrating a scene. They truly captured raw emotions and remained committed to the authenticity of the wedding vibe itself. And they shared so much good energy with us, supporting other dream team vendors, our families and us on the wedding day. Due to covid-19, our wedding plans had changed drastically, and we were totally devastated as we had hoped to have all of our family and friends join us for a destination wedding in Portugal. We decided that it meant more to us to have our parents and siblings there to celebrate our love and we would find a way to make our wedding small but special in our hometown. Unfortunately, we only had two short months to plan our wedding and we had no vendors booked apart from our amazing planner @blushandcoevents. We were initially debating whether a videographer would be worth it for us since we only had few events with very little people but we decided that though photos would capture some moments, we wouldn't be able to truly relive those moments and share our wedding with our friends and family without a video. Once we had made our decision, we had little time to find a quality videographer. One that we felt understood our vision and we really wanted vendors who were kind and helped make our days feel special. Justin and Ixchel were a treat to have around, they were very professional, easy to work with and they were EXTREMELY detailed to ensure everything went perfectly at all our events. They took to time to understand us as a couple so they could understand what we wanted out of our video and do site visits before the events to ensure sound and video quality were flawless. You would think quality and timeliness would be difficult to achieve with such a short turnaround time, but they were very quick to respond and had templates for us to fill for our all of wedding details which made it quick and easy. We couldn't have picked a better company to work with and not only did we receive a beautiful product, but we also made two new friends who made our wedding extremely special! We would highly recommend Parfait Productions!

We had initially booked parfait in May of 2020 for our May 2021 wedding. A few weeks after booking, we were concerned with the safety of our family and friends as the pandemic was in full swing in our province and seemed only to be getting worse so we decided to postpone to 2022, which Parfait allowed us to do at no charge (none of our other vendors charged us either).In spring 2021, we requested to postpone our wedding till 2023 for the same reason (the vaccination campaign was going extremely slowly then and cases were on the rise); at the time, Parfait let us know that they were going to charge us over 1000$ to move the date. They were the only one of our vendors to impose such a penalty.We inquired with friends who were engaged around the same period and they informed us that they had been forced to move their date as well, sometimes as many as three or four times, without any penalties from any of their vendors. Following what we perceived as unprofessional interactions we had with Parfait subsequently, we no longer felt comfortable moving forward with them as our wedding videographers.We attempted to resolve the matter in a way where each of us would assume part of the costly loss, despite the fact that they had over a year to rebook our date and so would have had ample time to rebook and recoup everything, but they refused. They have kept our 5000$ deposit in it’s entirety and also demanded that we sign another contract with them that contained a clause forbidding us from critiquing them in any way, thus attempting to remove our ability to write this review. We refused.Legally Parfait were within their rights to keep our deposit and charge for a reschedule but we believe other couples should be aware of these aspects of their business model in the exceptional context of a pandemic that has cost millions of people their lives so they might make a decision accordingly.
