Mount McKay Scenic Lookout
Can drive half way up the mountain making it accessible for everyone. Wonderful view of sleeping giant, thunderbay airport, lake superior and the thunderbay downtown. Very scenic mountain. Have a few trails that lead to the top, but not maintained. Hard trails with a lot of climbing not suitable for everyone. A big parking area and a beautifully maintained park space adds to the beauty of this place.

Mount McKay Scenic Lookout
Mount McKay is an excellent place to go visit there's an actual trail that you can climb to the top I wouldn't recommend it for small children but teens and adults will have great fun climbing the mountain be aware and climb at your own risk, but the views are quite spectacular and it's great exercise you may even see the odd blackbear. The trails not marked so it could take you awhile to find it but it's quite obvious bring water and wear the proper footwear a walking-stick wouldn't be a bad idea have fun and thanks for reading please give me a like

Mount McKay Scenic Lookout
This is a must see when in thunder bay! The mountain is breathtaking. Unfortunately the day I visited was the last day open before closing for the winter and it was snowing badly so I didn't have very good views. I can't wait to come back.

Awesome views of Thunder Bay and surrounding areas. Great little hike next to the lookout. Worth the $10 admission.

Mount McKay Scenic Lookout
An absolute must do while in Thunder Bay. The Mount McKay Scenic Lookout gives you panoramic views of Thunder Bay, Sleeping Giant Provincial Park and so much more! If you want an even better view make sure to spend the extra time hiking up the east face of the volcanic plateau for an incredible view from the top.

Cool lookout! The park gate was closed but we walked up like others and only did the main level lookout due to time. Pretty views of Thunder Bay.

Really nice view! Only 10$ to go up there by car, not too much people, there is also a little trai to do to go on top, dont know if its legit but be careful to not fall, very steep and rocks fall

A definitely must see in thunder bay. The view is pretty good and its an easy 5 min drive up. You could hike another 40 minutes to be at the very top. Would say that the hike is not very kid friendly.
