The staff in the bakery was super accommodating. I was glad that I found here a delicious yet affordable double fudge cake for my kids’ birthday party. I had the birthday message and their names written on top of the cake on the spot without prior request.Safeway has an organized and inviting ambiance. It is very convenient to shop here.

Not returning if I'm just going to be told to use a defective self-checkout and have an employee talk back to me because I indicated I would rather checkout as normal. Seven times the machine locked up because it said unexpected item and multiple times I had to have the employee unlock it. Not once was there a sorry for the inconvenience, especially because she was the one who told me to use it.

It's a wholesome store with a wide variety of goods. I would have appreciated more self care products, but that's just because I'm a foreigner and not sure where else to go to get them, lol. It's never too crowded, cashiers are fast and friendly, goods stacked neatly. The veggies look fresh, there's a wider variety of fresh veg than frozen..I guess that's good! Expiration dates are well monitored, so you see frequent deals to move those goods off the shelf. Walk with your reusable bag or you'll end up with several like me!

Awful experience at the deli. Racism shouldn’t be present when you’re trying to order a sandwich. Watch out for Ruth. She’s old, grumpy and has to realize things are changing in society. No place for discrimination or racism.

I had some really good, nice staff when checking out and at customer service- I seem to be often fond of my neighbourhood Safeway's & these folks are keeping that sentiment alive for me :D

I stopped by for some buns this evening and the woman at the till was fast, helpful and very nice. I specifically remembered her name so I could recognize her. Erica is a superb employee. Will be certainly calling and mentioning to management also

I came here after getting cash from a friend. Had a hard time finding cooking oil, and took ten minutes to find an employee to tell me where it was. Got to the front to pay and nobody was at the tills. I finally found an employee watching over the self serve check out and I asked how do I pay cash? The employee looked around and said they could help. Well if you have one employee at check out, it is not my responsibility to look for service. I am now at super store and probably won't go to Safeway again. I grew up loyally with Safeway but with no staff, I don't have time to waste looking for a staff member.
