Terrible experience. Reserved a car for pickup at Comox Airport. Arrived to find the booking had not been processed. No vehicle available, no apology, no help with transport so we would have been stranded with our young grand daughter if a rival rental company hadn’t helped us out. The enterprise agent really could not have cared less.

Please don’t rent from here they are scam artists. They will charge your credit card and send you claims saying you “damaged” the vehicle. I rented a vehicle to go to Victoria and ended up being too sick to go so it sat in my secure parking garage with no contact. The only miles I added on the vehicle was to drive it to my home and back to the rental place. I always check the vehicle on pick up and return and the car was in PRISTINE condition. I get an email (2 DAYS after renting said vehicle) telling me they are filing a claim against me for “damage” done to the vehicle. I am beyond dumbfounded how they can get away with this kind of thing but I will never be using the services of Enterprise again and intend to fight their excuse of a claim. Please be careful and take pictures of the rented car!Update: my credit card covered the claim and after the claim was paid by my insurance they were non stop contacting me trying to get me to pay them more money. Terrible people. If you’re a young woman renting a car, please make sure to take photo proof upon returning the vehicle that it was not damaged. People are ruthless these days and will scam anyone they think is vulnerable.

I will never use Enterprise again. We booked a car weeks before our trip. My flight was supposed to land at 5:02pm and they close at 5pm. I phoned TWICE to see how this works and what happens if my flight is delayed. Both times I was assured that since I provided my flight number when booking , they would wait for me up until 7pm. I landed at 5:22pm on Friday.I was alone with my four month old baby and four year old daughter. As I struggled to wheel my luggage cart, stroller and tired hungry kid to the counter I noticed nobody was there. I phoned and was told the employee had gone home. As I was renting a car seat from them for my daughter I had no way of leaving the airport. They left me stranded with my two kids. This was incredibly scary and stressful and shouldn’t have happened. The response I got from them on the phone? Come back Monday when they reopen and see if they can help. Monday!!! It’s Friday and I can’t leave the airport. If I can even get to my hotel how do I come back Monday and what do I do all weekend with my two children?Then on Monday I get a call saying because of my short notice booking they can’t give me an SUV, only a car because I “didn’t show” for my pick up Friday. They ended up getting an SUV from Nanaimo and offered me a 10% discount which did not cover the extra cost or renting a car last minute elsewhere to get me out of the airport. Extremely disappointed and would recommend anybody flying into comox to use National or Budget. Avoid Enterprise at all costs.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car
I had some luggage go missing with an Air Canada flight and could not get though to them on the phone. I couldn’t reach anyone at the Comox airport and couldn’t get through to Air Canada for any assistance. I called Enterprise to try and get someone to help me connect with anyone at the airport that might be able to help me. I spoke with Travis and he took it upon himself to take down all our information and try to get us some help from Air Canada. Thank you Travis!

Enterprise Rent-A-Car
Overall I wouldn't give Enterprise five stars but for one of their employees, Travis, he totally deserves it. I had returned my rental car and forgot a pair of expensive wireless headphones in the car. I contacted Enterprise when I arrived home and Travis was kind enough to find the headphones for me and hold onto them for a courier to pick them up and ship to me.

I've rented from many different car rental companies over the years, but I have to say that Enterprise stands out as one of the best. What really impressed me about my recent rental experience was the level of professionalism and courtesy displayed by the staff. They were always happy to answer any questions I had and went out of their way to ensure that I had a positive experience. The car I rented was also excellent - it was clean, comfortable, and drove like a dream. I appreciated the fact that Enterprise offers a wide range of vehicles to choose from, so I was able to find one that fit my needs perfectly. All in all, I would highly recommend Enterprise to anyone in need of a rental car.
