Kanata Ford Service

After being left on hold and transferred twice.. was told a service advisor would have to call me back to book my appointment.. 10am monday morning.. as no advisors were answering.. called barrhaven ford and they booked me in right away.. kanata has lost my business

So my wife had a nice custom F150 from Kanata Ford. We were having an issue with the alignment. Kanata Ford found the issue and fixed it up. Daniel and Virgil went out of their way for me. Thanks again guys.

Friendly and helpful staff. I've never had an issue any time I've had to bring my vehicle in for service. While they have a great loaner car system, if you haven't booked one or there are none available when you come in, Kanata Ford does not have a shuttle service.

Constantly can never “find the problem” with my auto engine shutoff feature while waiting at lights (all year round). I also have a feature that tells you how many km you get to a tank of gas and it is never accurate. After driving a bit and turning the engine off to park the car, you start it up again after it’s been sitting for a few hours and “magically” there’s more kms added to the amount of kms you it once said was lower. Lousy service. Staff don’t care and aren’t interested (it seems) in doing warranty work.

Brought my car in last year to the service department, they said my transmission was shot but I’d be “fine to drive it still” after about a week I was physically unable to even drive my car. I was told 3 weeks for the parts to come in. 3 weeks later I called because I hadn’t heard anything and they told me another 2 weeks. This continued on for 3 months. They couldn’t give me an answer about when the parts would be in and refused to give me a loaner vehicle. Luckily I was able to borrow a vehicle from my sister. Eventually they actually started to screen my calls and if I called with questions I was put on hold for 30+ minutes or told the person I needed to speak too was unavailable or would “call me back” which they never did. Eventually I needed to return the car I was borrowing and was told my parts would be in next week. When I asked for a loaner vehicle for the week while my car was repaired the person I was speaking with told me no. I then asked to speak with his manager and magically they had a loaner vehicle available for me. I’m not a complainer usually but the service I received here was so horrendous I almost quit buying ford vehicles altogether. Luckily I went to a different dealership and got a new car and had a MUCH better experience. Would not recommend this service centre to my worst enemy.

Drove from Texas to Kanata and needed an oil change. Kanata Ford Service did a great job with fantastic customer service.

The service department is horrible. I had a simple question (whether they scheduled a loaner or not) regarding my scheduled appointment but kept being transferred directly to an answering machine with no name or position given and then hung up on when I am prompted to press 0. Over and over again. I finally left a message to just cancel the appointment. I wish I had purchased my truck from a better dealership every time I have to call them. Every. Single. Time.

Quick repair while out of town. Very happy they could book us in so quickly.
