La Paloma Gelateria & Cafe

The positive: gelato tasted good and portions were generous. However, the atmosphere was not welcoming at all. An elderly man in an apron was out on the floor, chatting with a few people. Meanwhile all of the young women working looked to be in misery. From cash register to end of counter, each one delivered an impatient eye roll, if they managed any eye contact.

I always try to hold back from giving bad reviews but after reading all these reviews here, I do agree that the ladies that work here are not friendly at all and this has happened every single time but we still visit from time to time. Just wish they would take all these reviews into consideration and care about treating customers better. Espresso and their cookies are good. Variety of different Gelato flavours that taste so YUM! We have made a lot of good memories with friends and will not let the staff ruin it. I'm only taking a star off.

Interesting texture ice cream and the area indoor was not very clean.

17$ for 2 scoops in a waffle cone, and 1 small cup. WOW!Your symbol is misleading. Your scoops don't go above the brim on ANY container, and for the said PRICE, it's scathing that you charge that MUCH, have the audacity to say NO REFUNDS, and yet expect people to not take issue with your product. If I could give a half star, I would. Because that's what it was like today, underwhelmed HEAVILY!You guys USED to be good. Last time. Never again.

I'm not sure why the owners are still operating when they clearly show contempt for their business, customers and staff. The older lady ( the owners' wife or girlfriend I believe) is a horrendous woman. I thought maybe I caught her on a bad day the first time I witnessed her abuse. However, in 3 visits I've witnessed her berating her poor staff for minor things, while screaming at customers who ask for extra napkins. She crossed the line of verbal abuse in my opinion. It's no suprise why they have trouble retaining staff. Not sure why people haven't boycotted this place yet. Gelato is good but I'd never go back. As a small retail business owner myself there is no excuse for the ownerships repeated abusive behavior and sense of entitlement. Sell the business or stay home if you're miserable! Family is complicated but ask your wife to stay home if you care about your business at all. She's toxic

Amazing selection of flavors. Seating area, good service. Call me cheap, but it seemed a bit pricey. Once in a while kinda deal.

A little pricy for two scoops of gelato. The pistachio flavour was delicious!

WOW, I have such amazing memories of this place. I actually had my first date and proposed to my wife inside with all my friends and family present. Unfortunately, those memories are now clouded by the terrible service that this place now offers. From the new tiny portion sizes, to the rude staff, this place gives you no warm feeling that it once had. I have no idea why the owners just don’t care anymore. Very sad to let your establishment go in this direction. Sincerely “disappointed groom”.

No frills gelato. Got a piccolo Pistachio Gelato on a waffle cone. Pay first pick flavor after. So many options you could get paralysis looking at all the tasty options.Wasn't too busy but there were families and couples here. Lots of places to sit and clean inside. Big scoop even for the small. Delicious texture, very authentic.
