My wife and I had an excellent experience with Wild Waterways Adventures. We were originally scheduled on the Great Bear Adventure tour, but for some obscure phone connection reason we missed the start. Jen got back to us the very same day and offered to rebook us on the Majestic Whales Adventure tour the very next day - what a professional service! Humpback whales, orcas, sea lions and the eagle feast, what an amazing day. Jen was an extraordinary captain, and her knowledge, enthusiasm and love for this region made this tour a unique and unforgettable experience. Not to mention the delicious meal. We're already looking forward to next year's Great Bear Adventure. Thanks again Wild Waterways Adventures for these magical moments. I recommend them 100%.

Jen’s expertise as a captain, guide, and naturalist are unequalled. She took incredible care of her guests (my family and a terrific new friend we met on Quadra prior to the tour) and she provided us with the perfect dose of magic to keep our spirits connected and our family strong. She is passionate about the environment and our connection to it, and she coveys this enthusiasm with a combination of professionalism, patience, and kindness that is difficult for me to express. She shared with us wonders that filled our souls beyond overflowing, introduced us to characters and locations worthy of a Grant Lawrence or Tom Robbins novel, and took great care to ensure our safety and comfort along the way. A tour with Jen and Wild Waterways Adventures can reawaken a deep connection to life on the planet in even the sleepiest of souls. I’m so grateful to have had the experience and would welcome the opportunity to spend more time with her on the waters of British Columbia. Indeed, if we are so fortunate, we will be back. We wish her and Reuben the greatest of success. They certainly deserve it.

I work locally with international students and we were lucky enough to book a trip out of Comox with Wild Waterways Adventures for their brand new “Biggs Orca and Salish Sea Herring” tour for mid-March. Even though we were all excited just to be out on the water on a beautiful spring day…the tour ended up turning into a once in a lifetime experience! Within an hour of departing the Comox Marina and heading south toward Hornby and Denman Islands, we were treated to an epic 3 hour long orca show with multiple pods of whales breaching, hunting and playing! Our tour guide/boat operator Jen was professional, approachable, and engaging from start to finish. Her knowledge of whales and wildlife was beyond impressive, and she clearly takes great pride in sharing her wealth of information with guests. She was sure to communicate with our group what our preferences were (if we wanted to go to land to have lunch or stay on the boat with our hot chocolate and keep watching the whale show)!I highly recommend this tour (or any tour offered) with Wild Waterways Adventures for both locals and tourists alike for a chance to have a one of a kind west coast experience!Thank you Jen + Team!

We had a great day with „Wild Waterways Adventure“ and were perfectly at the right spots to see seals, orcas and humpback whales. They even extended the tour a bit because of the amazing show of some whales. Thank you for the tour!

We (my wife and I) went on a tour of the tidal rapids around Big Bay on Stuart Island. We were picked up from our sailboat in Drew Harbour on Quadra, and went with three others from Whaletown up through the Yaculta, Arran and Greene rapids at full flood. The experience was unforgettable!. Rubin was magic at handling the boat, relaxed, confident and obviously enjoying himself. The wildlife in the rapids and in transit, was superb. Thanks for an incredible day!

What an amazing trip !We are a family of 4 (12 and 9 yo) and we experienced the multiday trip with Wild Waterways, perfectly planned by Jen and Ruben.First Day we were on the bear searching tour and the day after on the Octopus Island Kayaking with a night at the awesome Blind Channel resort nested in a lovely bay between Islands. But no matter we had to do for the day, Jen and and Ruben always tried to spot wildlife and the 2 days were crazy with orcas, humpback whales, grizzly and Black bears, seals, dolphins and an incredible scene of bald eagle fishing.I would definetly recommand this eco responsible company and hope to come back one day !

We have been on trips with this company more than once. Their tours are have a touch of authenticity over and above any other company I have been with before. Both Jenn and Reuben are passionate about their craft. Our family got a water taxi service for a family adventure. It was amazing they were very professional and knowledgeable. They shared their experiences in the local area and were great with our kids. They went out of their way to ensure we had a great time! I will be using them again, thank you Jennn for picking us up and Reuben for taking us out, top notch service!!!

I live on Quadra, and it was the first time I have ever covered so much of the ocean that surrounds Quadra. In fact, we circumnavigated Cortes Island.. It was incredible! There were many photo opportunities: eagles perched on the trees waiting for the flood tide to snatch the Hake; humpback whales feeding along the shores of Cortes after travelling from as far away as Hawaii; and so much more. It made me appreciate the amazing sea creatures even more. We were in awe of them as the humpback whales fed in one area long enough for us to see how they behave in the wild.Lunch was excellent! Jen, the owner, operator of Wild Waterways made me the best vegetarian wrap I have ever had! We finished lunch off with tea or coffee and homemade cookies. All homemade!!!Jen moved us skillfully through some rough waters and provided interpretation about the geography and the history of the vast area that we covered. It was a day that I’ll never forget. She loves what she does - that is obvious. I highly recommend taking a trip with Wild Waterways Adventures.

What can I say?If you're looking for a personal and humane touch, look no further.Home-made organic launch. Locally roasted coffee. And what a great sailing boat! I wasn't expecting that.I'll let you in on a secret, my spouse made me go on the tour. I was hesitant and skeptical because I'd had a few not-so-great experiences. After exploring the waters with Jen, I'm ready for more. Don't need to ask me again.

I've been on a few tours now with Wild Waterways Adventures with both Reuben and Jen, they are amazing! Recently we did the Great Bear Adventure tour and the scenery was like going into Middle Earth. Absolutely stunning landscape. We found two huge grizzlies eating the sedge grass along the river estuary, land ots of Black Bear. Orca, humpback, eagles and sea lion opportunities along the way there and back. Beautiful break spot and an awesome lunch. Hands down my most memorable wildlife experience. Highly recommended.
