Updated a 20 year old house and replaced every light. Todd helped me pick lights that were perfect for the style of house. The lights Todd helped me pick were so next year and not so last year. The result was absolutely amazing. Todd was very knowledgeable and fun to work with. This is the only place to go for your lighting needs.

Unhelpful, unknowledgeable, unprofessional, very unpleasant, no better than online providers:I came to visit a couple of times, willing to pay the extra (vs. online purchase) to support the business, local and expecting there would be a better customer service, when, in fact, there was not a single argument supporting the choice.Beside the after-sale service being pretty much non-existant in the case of buying a ceiling fan (that could potentially be nothing like the picture, too loud, too big, too low or unfaithful to the quoted specs), whatever enquiry I had couldn't be fulfilled with a productive answer. I managed to gather most of my answers from the web instead of a physical retail specialist.One gentleman was going out of his way to help despite his lack of knowledge but the rest of the staff, at all visits, was very unpleasant and treating me as if I were an idiot, rather than offering to take me through the necessary steps to finding the right product for my needs.I came to realise, after a few visits and making my own research, that I was probably more acquaintant with their catalogues and more knowledgeable with ceiling fans than they have ever been in their realm of work.Not worth the extra margin, sadly.

Knowledgeable salespeople who were all very helpful in the selection process. They webt the extra mile to help with lightbulbs, packing the products in the car, suggesting electricians and an overall general friendly demeanor.

Lovely customer service! Gave us bottled of water as we shopped on a hot day. Beautiful inventory in a range of prices. Looking forward to installing our new dining room light!

I was there yesterday to buy lighting for my house that I am renovating and when we walk in we liked a lot things and we were going to buy from them however we felt discrimanated because the sales lady told me 4 times that the chanderlier are pricy ($2000 to $4000) and each time I told her that I am aware that I will be spending close to that however she continue making those comments and I had enough ans decided to walk out with my family somewhere less discrimanating .Another comment she made was that because I was living in a hotel due to the renovation I have lots babys which were only 2 a 7 year old and 10 months old.I feel that my skin colour play a role here.

We bought a significant number of fixtures from the lighting center when we built our home. Todd was amazing and helped us every step of the way. He helped me see and pictures things outside my narrow minded views and I gratefully appreciated it.. otherwise I don't think our house would have looked as spectacular as it does now!

Have a couple wall sconces that used halogen bulbs. This old style bulb gives good light but get unbelievably hot. So hot we have not used them in years. There a fire hazard. Stopped in to look for some new fixtures and discovered the lighting center has retro fit led bulbs for these fixtures. 30 bucks for bulbs vs 400 bucks for new fixtures. This is a big win. Thank you

What a great experience!!! They went above and beyond for me. I have been calling stores trying to find a special set of light bulbs and not only did they have it but made sure it was the right one. Extremely knowledgable on all lighting products and they even went out of their way to find me a cap cover that I had lost for my light fixture in my move, for free!!! They made sure I had all the parts and were super friendly. What a selection of gorgeous light fixtures too. They were true professionals in their field and well priced. I've bought a few fans over the years from The Lighting Centre. They always have a great selection of products and their staff is knowledgeable.Recently this store showed me why they are the best place to buy lighting product from. One of my fans stopped working, and after diagnosing it the receiver had gone bad.It was a major inconvenience as it was one of the fans in my rental property and for me fixing a rental property in a timely fashion is top priority.I came to the store not knowing what would happen with the warranty. Darren and Gloria were awesome. Gloria was incredibly well versed with the product and talking with her and the fan issues and what i had done to diagnose it she could re-affirm me that the part that I thought was not working was likely the culprit.Darren tried extra hard to find me one and really tried to go the extra mile for me and in the end it paid off! They were able to get me going that same day with a replacement part which allowed me to fix the fan on my rental property and keep my tenants happy.If you're looking for a store with great selection, great staff, and great customer service this is the place! Whenever i need a lighting fixture i'll be looking here!Nick.

Great place. They carry all kinds of light bulbs. If they don't have it they know where you can get it. They also repaired my floor lamp very reasonably and added a light bulb at no cost. Lots of free parking.
